Happy VD to all!!

Hopefully I can come and play a little more now. 2 fundraisers down, 1 defensive driving class down, Evan finally got his glasses and the part of his speech eval but has to go back for a second part. And the icing in the cake is I havent seen my in-laws since Christmas! Does that rock or what?

I still have some errands I have to run today though. I'll be happy when spring break rolls around and I get to sleep in for a week!

It is a bag of weather here today, rain, snow and kinda yucky....just a good day to stay in....it is not so cold though...

...hmmmm....it's amazing what 48 long stems will get ya..................

my best present was my babies calling me today!! My dear grandson wanted to tell me thanks for his presents....this is really funny, I asked him "do you want to say hi to grandpa"....he says........"um, no, I want to talk to you, excuse me, are you listening grandma?"....he wanted to tell me ALL about the Power Ranger movie we sent him... ..so after that conversation I said "do you want to talk to grandpa now??....his reply...."um...nah, you can tell him what I said"............that little boy is TOO much sometimes....I get the biggest kick out of him.....he did finally ask to talk to grandpa though...he is so full of that Power Ranger movie he had to tell us ALL about it. The baby got on the phone too, and made a baby talk sound.....as a grandma, I was thrilled..................

hi everyone, yes, i am still among the living. i feel better, so much better i may even do the laundry now.........and clean the kitchen..............and vaccuum.........
gee, life was so much better when i was a hurting.

Deena, we don't "do" the lesser holidays either...I don't need candy and flowers are nice but so expensive....I'd rather keep the $$$ towards one of our trips or to just go out to eat whenever we feel like it. Plus, I canNOT stand trying to go someplace around here on a holiday or a weekend for that matter and the other 9 million citizens of our county have the same thing in mind...............

Same thing here too. Plus Im trying to get Matthews guitar paid off and Michaels computer. Last time dh sent me flowers they were so pretty, peach roses and white lillies--the flowers I had in my wedding but they cost about $70 for that arrangement and I almost choked when I saw the bill on our cc. I told him while I loved the flowers that just to much money to spend on something like that.
Mac--I guess it just doesnt pay to get well.

Hello gang!

Just thought i would drop in to see what everyone was upto on valentines day! Hope you are all having a great day! I told dave not to get me anything either so he went and got me some cyber flowers, chocolates, and a big I love you!!! Isn't that sooooo sweet!! i like the chocolates too--i can think of eating the chocolates and won't gain a single pound from them!!
Our internet has been off almost all day and i tell you that i am dying here with out it!!! dave took it down to the cable company and said that it is doing that all over town and they are trying to figure out why so i guess we will just have to live with it until it gets fixed!
I need to go make some dinner now but i will try to be on a little later if i can get on--if not i hope everyone has a GREAT night!

Hey Pam, oh cableless person.......... well, at least it is a problem in the system and not just your computer, while that does not make things better, it should make you feel better that you are doing nothing wrong.

That was so nice of 3xer to treat you so special!!! Way to go dad....you know how to make the lady smile.

We are just back from yet another minor crisis with in-laws....it is like I'm almost afraid to answer the phone anymore when I see their name come up...it is one thing after another....I told my son tonight....when I'm that age and my health is shot...I will not put you or your brother through it...just put us in a nursing home or take us to a field and shoot us....he immediately told me that first he would sell all my Mickey Mouse stuff............ ....he should have been a comedian............. I told him that I knew then he would be trying to get rid of me........

Deena, that is THE best gift that you got from your son....something handcrafted..... when the little ones make you something you keep it forever...I have some funky looking gifts still, but everyone of them is a memory...

I ended up ruining the red velvet cupcakes....duh...so I made another cake and it looked like crap...and I passed on steak dinner...will do it tomorrow...too much outside commotion today to concentrate on fixing a nice dinner...BUT I did indulge in my crappy looking cake......YUM....did I ever tell you guys I LOVE homemade buttercreme icing
