Morning....everyone is up and about on Saturday....I slept late....but then I was up late chatting with friends..........

Chuck E Cheese should be in motion right about now....bet the little fella will be enjoying that!

Nah, you can excercise for her mac, I'm the ref on the sidelines...oh, pick up the pace there lady.........

Any deliveries yet mac? Remember, if its warm, just leave it on the porch and invite us all over..................

yea, sofa and love seat was just delivered and i changed my mind, i don't like them. the backs are much higher than what i had before. don't like the look. but, they are comfy to sit in and sleep on......

the sofa is a double recliner wall away and goes just like a lazy boy. the love seat also a double recliner. color always looks different when not in the store and in your home. glad i switched to beige.

i have a week to switch the furniture. just do not like the higher backs on it.

bummer.

now only one more delivery for the day...hope they come soon so i can get out of this dump.

oh mac, sorry furniture didn't quite suit you...seeeeeeee.....I told you to make porch furniture out of it!!!

when I went searching for a new sofa, (ok, my old one was my Mom's, that had been re-upholstered twice and was 30 yrs. old...lol) I had a heck of a time finding what I liked, not all cushions and stuff, but like an early american type look...mine is a double recliner too and makes good sleeping for dear hubby, he is tall, so I know how you feel about finding just the right look.

not much happening here, it is warmer today and sunny, but I think I will just be hanging out at home...hate Saturday's at the mall, unless I feel like being around lots of people.....NOT.........

the second delivery arrived ten minutes after the first one.....but still stuck at home.
dh gone to skii and ds took my car to go to work........isn't that how it always goes!

now stuck in the house.

Oh no Mac - bummer about the furniture!!! I had a double recliner..it was ok for a while, but with kids..I needed something different. Good luck finding others. I am sorry you are stuck in your house. It does always seem to work that way doesnt it.

Mic - you chillin' at home huh? Have a relaxing day!!

Ed - Have you started your painting yet??? What color are you painting?

Deena - Evan will be ok. Hopefully the glasses will correct the eyesight.

Pam - How did Aubrey do a tumbling today?

I am waiting for my outlaws. They should be here any minute. Maybe DH and I will get out tonight and catch a show.

Chuck E Cheese was ok. We are going to get out in a little while and watch Meet the Fockers. There are quite a few movies out that I want to see. He doesnt get mad if I only eat a side salad for dinner if we are out..it is at home where he tracks me more.

Bummer about Pete and the furniture. I am sorry he wont let you return it. MEN!!!...I tell ya!!!

mac--sorry about the furniture! It is always hard to pick just the right one! Man you always have good advice!!!
ocm--bob's tumbling was fine--she did get hurt with a little cut on her chin but she is fine--she was screwing around! lol Was it nico's party today?? Have fun tonight if you get to get out! and just remember--your inlaws will leave!
mic--relax and have a great day--i was going to hang around too but now i guess we are going to my mom's for her b-day tonight.
ed--what are you painting??? your family room? sounds like fun--when you get done i have a lot you could paint too
deena--is evan glasses just for his lazy eye or is it for his eyesight too?

Pam its for his eyesight as well. When we picked out his glasses today the lady said he had a very strong rx. He looked really cute in his little glasses I just hope they help like they are supposed to.
OCM--have a good time out tonight!
Mac--sorry you dont like your furniture. Our couch reclines on each end but seems most of us prefer our recliners instead. I LOVED my last couch which was very deep--probably close to a twin size bed but the material was very flimsy and tore easily. So this time we went with sturdier and darker material.

Hi Deena....I'm here....actually been on the computer most of the day...just surfing around window shopping.....it beats running around in the car....LOL

Momma, tell us how the movie was....it looks so funny and I love "Meet the Parents"...

Im painting the family room. I fisnished priming and painting all the trim, it was all 70's brown and its now off white the walls are going to a Taupe color.

Busy?? well, I'm STILL semi working from Friday. It's been a long couple of days. I', also getting the house ready for a Super Bowl party tomorrow, and then I still have a ton of things to do before Disney at the end of the week.

DH and I just came back from a frantic call with in-laws...things are ok for the moment...won't bore you all with details, but it sure always keeps us wound tight, wondering when the phone rings what is wrong..........especially at 10:30 at night........you know, it sure makes me dread the day when I'm in that boat............

Kild enjoy your superbowl party!! Working on the weekend..I think that is sacrilegious!! I know things get wicked crazy before a big trip...but do get sleep before you take that drive.

Yes, I will be at the TV tonight...rooting for my team. (Redskins are actaully my team....but Philly is a close second. )

nope, won't find me glued to the TV, football is not my sport....I'll watch a little and like mac enjoy the commericials, but I'll probably do my own thing while hubby is watching and enjoying it....I saw on the news where people were taking out second mortgages on their homes to buy tickets that were upwards to $10,000 to go...........um.........there is NO sporting event to me that is worth it....not even my beloved you know who's....to put my roof over my head at risk............crazy
