the brown can really make a change. i did brown highlights as the toner fades out after two months for me and the brown blends in great with the bleach blonde.

i used to do four different shades of blonde when i have the hair foiled but switched to the brown highlights now. and if dh isn't happen with the highlights, it does blend in well.
mine had a f-i-t when i darkened my hair many years ago. went back to the blonde and did the brown for me.

Good morning all. Still tons of things here at the office that have to do with the merger we are going through. I was finally able to have a meeting with my entire group yesterday and let them know that the "new" company still requires their services and that there will be no reduction to our workforce. I could see the relief on their faces. Turns out this merger was a great thing for me. As a result I ended up with 2 additional weeks of vacation (6 total) and a promotion from supervisor to manager. I now have 12 people reporting to me instead of 8 and will have 2 new openings in the next year. On the downside, that's 4 extra mid-year and year-end reviews I have to do as well as any personal baggage the new people may come with. Enough with that, let's eat.

...we decided to go out. the rain let up....well, as soon as we hit the car, the rain started up again and it poured the whole time we were out....and don't you know little boys LOVE puddles??? every conceivable one that they can jump in!!!! and then say..."do you have dry clothes for me"...

YIKES...plus he wanted to look at every toy aisle in the store!!!

But, we are back, he is napping and I got what I went out for...and then some actually stuff for 2 nice Mr. Fix-It jobs for DH...new faucet in bathroom and a new kitchen ceiling light...Froggy, we need you...he is going bonkers already and just started...LOL

ADAM, CONGRATULATIONS on the promotion...I'm thrilled for you and hope when the dust settles all is well...its always good that everyone is still secure in their positions...again, CONGRATS!!!! p.s. any private celebrating...I want to be involved....

Mic - I am sorry about the rain. Dont you hatei t when you think you are beating it..just to get out and find out..NOPE it beat you!!! Weather I tell ya. And..you can be in on the "private celebration" the more the merrier!

I got a lot done today. I did my workout, took Julie to play class (and I got to talk to real life stay at home moms..yay) then fed the kids lunch. Now I have to pay the bills, call a few more preschools, and unpack.

mic those 2 projects could take all day aty leats if ya milk them they can honestly the bath room sink faucet can really be a toughy if you dont have the right tools. light should be no problem,, 4 screws three wires,,, and a light bulb,, but the sink faucet,,, yikes,, not a great diy project no matter what the store says have made many after hours late evening calls to repair what the home owners tore up trying to change one of those out (even had one homeowner that broke his water meter trying to turn it off till i could get there,, when i arrived we called city asap,, he had water shooting 50 ft in the air)

oh yeah for got to add,, that light bulb can be a pain if ya dont have someone to turn the ladder,,,,, in that case a swivel desk chair works well
