hey all,
i am ready and not ready for thanksgiving.
i went back to the lady's house whose husband died one week ago tomorrow and gave her my groceries. i know she will not be celebrating t day like you all are but there are 8 people living there and they will be hungry no matter what day it is.
whenever i help her, all she does is cry.

jules, welcome back..............did you come back with suntan lines?

ocm: are you driving down to disney? how long is it from atlanta? i think it is about a five hour drive from savannah, i could be wrong on that one.
hey, ocm, you get out of doing turkey day................you are leaving on optional day.............thursday............woo hoo...

pam, is the little one still sick?/?? i sure do hope he feels better soon. it is always the mom that suffers the most when one of the kids are ill.
mic, what are you up to? going to do some pirating tonight?
4gb: so glad you are falling into line with us....hope we don't corrupt you................or maybe, we could learn a few things from you. you mentioned dec 7, what happens then,? do you have another baby then??????? or maybe go on a trip???
either way, it will be fun whatever it is.
froggy: are y ou still playing with all the lights?? i think you need a few more as i can't see you from here.

Hi mac, I'm in and out... did I say that .... wow, you are SO good to help that poor lady...good for you...doesn't it make your heart feel full when you can do stuff like that? it always does for me...especially at the holidays...we always "adopt" a little boy and girl at work and see that they have a wonderful holiday...like you said, we all have full and plenty and to help others is a gift in itself

jules must be wore out and sleeping tonight, haven't seen her...hmmmmm...hope she isn't too tired to fill us in...

don't think 4GB's is having a baby on Dec. 7th, but going to WDW!!!!!! Mac - I think it is 7 hours from here, but it will take us a lot longer with my kids. They are very needy and our TV for the ar isnt working. SO that is a long trip. But hey, it could be worse.

Naked driving on the highway..hmmm..good idea. As long as only male cops stop me, I should be able to fly.

Mac--3 of my 4gb will be headed to Disney. Dh cant go because Dec is the busy season for them (He is on of the sex guys in borwn--UPS driver), and the 2 oldest have to much going on at school right now. So it will be Matthew 14, Evan 4, Connor 2 and me. Staying Dec 7-12. Not having any kids right now that Im aware of. And I was actually pretty positive I was done til my best friend got pg and now I keep wondering if I want one more or if Im done. Im not getting any younger though

No I am just kidding. I'll kick my own butt if I start talking like that.

My mom really wants me to go home Jan 8th for a party. But, I am afraid that if I go home that soon, I wont want to come back. But my brother who isnt coming for Christmas will be there. So, as you can see, I am still undecided.

I dont have to make the decision right now, but I should give her a warning if I am not going to go. She gets mad if she suspects I am going to do something and it doesnt happen. Mom's I tell ya

Another rainy yucky day... ...I should have stayed under the covers...but as usual, on a day I DON'T have to get up, I wake up early....ask me on Friday morning when I have to get up at 4 if I'm ready...

Smile pretty for the MVA photo ocm, you know they always are the best!!! If you like looking like you've just been released from cell block 8... And you know you will go home in January!!! You will be ready for another break by then.

mac, cool, only a 1/2 day today...come home and start preparing those 6 meals your boys will be eating tomorrow...LOL...

I've got a 1/2 day too, the kidlettes come around noon today, both of them as school is out for the oldest...so we'll see how long they last together before the war begins....they forget thought, I'm the queen battle buster...and I always win!!

ooooooooo big adam, those pies look yummy.....

i made a southern style pecan and of course pumpkin last night.......had to make quite a few......as soon as i leave for work at 8 today, those pies will disappear when the boys see them.......that's why i make 4 pies so we have something for thursday......


don't you hate packing?? i used to pack the week before a trip when i took the boys. that way they had clean clothes. one year todd kept using the clothes that were in his suitcase each day. found out that the night before we left for orlando.
ugh.........doing laundry up to midnight that year. after that, i bought locks and locked those suckers up.

this year, october, when i went solo, packed the night before i left and went nuts trying to do so...................

supposed to have snow 3-6 inches this evening in chitown land............
i am less than 2 miles from lake michigan so we don't get the snow that the city does. lake effect situation....................woo hoo.........not a snow bunny, no i am not.
