Good morning everyone. I hope you had an enjoyable day yesterday. Sorry for not logging on. It was a very busy day for me. I had to take my DS to freshman orientation, run to work for a project that I am doing with my boss, off to take my other DS to flag football practice and then take my DD to her modeling class interview. TGIF!!!!

Anyway, it is a beautiful morning isn't it?

And to make up for yesterday, I decided to throw in a buffet for breakfast this morning so grab a plate and jump in line!

And a mimosa to wash it all down.

The boat scene is gorgeous and the buffet looks wonderful. Very Yummy. I cant drink, but for the others..well, it is 5 oclock somewhere

Spent the night reading the So. Beach Diet, Along with my exercise Routine I'm going to see if this is a way of eating for me, I know alot of people who have tried it and like it alot where they failed on Atkins.

Wow..I think there are a lot of people on these boards that eat like that. Does it seem easy? I have never been on a diet per say. I guess Body for life, but I just think mypolex tastes the best.

Is it basically cutting out all carbs?

Thanks Ed for covering breakfast for me yesterday. That picture is really neat. It almost looks like an animation. It looks kinda like rice paddies only in the mountains.

For the first 2 weeks and its not as strict as Atkins, and then you start adding Carbs back in but not stripped down white carbs ,the healthier whole grain ones, I'm still reading the book but it sounds like something I can handle, my DW and I know a few people who have tried it and they like it alot, so Monday I start.

Adam thats exactly what it is they're Rice Terraces, that picture is in China, but they do it in the Phillipines and Bali ect. also.

I'm fountain of useless knowlege, you should see my DW and I playing Jeopardy.

Adam, you have definitely raised your grade, just for being a good Dad!!! OCM can tell you where I stand on that platform.. good luck to all the young Big Dude's in all their endeavors...but now....giving secret presents...hmmmmm...that is another matter...I like this one...seems to fit too...

as far as the F on the test...I know the teacher...you can get that adjusted...I'm sure...

I've lost almost 30 lbs. since the end of June....it is a good diet to follow...even though I don't eat a lot of the stuff they have in the book....I'm kinda picky...I find stuff and am rarely hungry...the lst two weeks are rough...but I pretty much eat on that phase all the time...I've added fruits, low carb bread...if you like eating meat, its a good diet...I'm there for ya!!!

ok Miss buttkicker...where will you be wearing that ring today??? did little buttkickers settle down for ya??? LOL...

They finally did go to sleep. But my good sleeper was up at 3am ready to play. I am not going to win this one.

I have a lot of shopping to do today. I need to get my DD her minnie mouse gloves and I need to get the party stuff for their b-day party. They want a Mickey and Minnie theme..so I need to go find plates cups and napkind or that. I also need to go to the Bakeries and find a mickey and minnie cake.

I do one big family party for the two of them (soon to be three of them) and then they each have a seperate friends party. This year DS wants to have it at Chuck E Cheese. So, I have to call them and find the prices out and how many kids can be invited.

I usually have all of this done by now. I am slacking this year.

ocm, you have a busy day. I know you want to get out, but have you ever checked out Birthday Express on line? I understand you can order the whole kaboodle from them with just about every theme possible. Little guy I keep had a pirate party and the stuff was really cute...even had thank you cards to send after with the theme on it...

Chuck E. Cheese is a big deal around here too, and that actually can be done on line too, I think....just some suggestions if you get tired of running around.....especially with such early risers!! LOL

ed, I'm no diet expert...but I'll help you out and cheer you on...if I can do it, ANYBODY can...and I've been successful...I'm shooting on at least 10 lbs. more lost "me" before our Oct. trip. Depending on what you have to lose...I dropped 18 lbs. in phase 1 alone....

very unkind of your "canvas" to put her hands in your creative artistry how dare she???

oh, is the 10 year anniversary ring a surprise? I love that style ring....I know she will too Very good man!!! That will earn you some 'lovin" points...now just stay away from the gal at the Dunkin Donuts drive thru...LOL
