I did have fun with them, until my 3yo got upset at lunch. Then my mom got upset and then..let's just say we are never going back to that restuarant and I dont think they want us back

But the kids had a blast and slept pretty well. Today they want to stay home, so hopefully I can get som shopping done.

that's good that you had fun--i know about the kids getting upset in restuarants--it's like you are under a microscope when they start acting up! Who watches your kids when you go shopping?

My brother in law. I dont live far from my inlaws. my BIL is 25, never worked at all, and lives at home. Sometimes, when he gets mad at his parents he comes to our house..we have a few spare bedrooms.

But, when he is not here, I call him and tell him to watch my kids. I figure if he is going to stay at my house, not do anything, and pay for nothing..he can watch my kids for free

So hopefully, later today, I can sneak out. He has been here for wo weeks now

DH's cousin is also here from the philippines. She got a job working at one of the local hospitals as a nurse. Today, she got off nightshift, so if she wakes up, she can watch them too. But, eventually, she will move out. She just has to save up enough around here to get an apartment..and that is not cheap around here.

We have to go to this thing tonight for my ds's for cub scouts! I have never had anything to do with cub scouts before so i have no idea what it is about!! They really want to do it--has anybody have any experience with cub scouts????

what was your other question...............cub scouts.
a couple of my boys did the indian guides program, its a father and son thing.
on the last son, sh got tired of it so that one did cub scouts. its ok, depends which den he gets and how active the other parents are. a neighbor and i did most of the crafts and projects and food treats for our den. wore me out.........

uniforms are ridiculously high...........and they outgrow them. that son only lasted two years and he got bored with it. he thought it would be more like indian guides with a lot of weekend campouts.

onecoolbuttkicker: lucky ducky you are.......live in help and also some around the corner............i had zero help when mine were babies and went nuts............and i smelled a lot.............and my blonde job wasn't very good in those days.

LOL! He is not free. He sleeps at my house, eats my food, and sues my shower and has no money to give me. Same with the cousin, but in all fairness to her at least she has a job. Trying to save money here is crazy, so I dont mind that.

But I do have a lot of help, I really cant complain. If I move in the next two months, I am sure I will be losing it too.


Pam, I have never done Cub Scouts, and my brothers didnt either. But, I hope they have fun.


Mac - bummer about the watch. But you will have fun getting to lunch tomorrow. I think you said before, but how old are your boys?

better get this in before I get knocked off again...server is busy....server is busy...I'm busy too, but I find time to get on the DIS....LOL

no cub scouts with my boys...strictly sports...#1 was a total baseball player from 5 yrs. til 18....#2 tried lots of things...never found his niche....pressure bothered him with sports....#1 would just as soon tell everyone to go to hades...you know what I'm really saying...LOL...something about apples falling not far from trees, don't ya think DH was involved in all that, except I did run concessions and was President of Babe Ruth League for several years....see, I was a big shot at one time...LOL...no real honor there, believe me...just all the headaches

work wasn't so bad today...one bite me person..."I work in retail, so I KNOW what you can and can't do as far as returns"...ok ma'am....where do YOU work, I'm coming in to try this at your place of employment If anyone is doing Disney costumes...they are starting to sell pretty good...the Jo-Jo's Circus at our store is gone except for 1 we have left...very popular...
