Work was fine today...until the skies opened up and it rained like crazy...when we can hear it raining inside at our mall, it IS raining hard....that slowed down people coming in....so I snuck out a little early...fine by me...beat the traffic!

I got a pizza for the fellas for dinner, didn't feel like cooking, had my veggies and a small burger and that is about as exciting as a day can get...LOL...I'm going to go do up a few dishes and watch TV for a bit...I'm oh so boring....but FUN... <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_2.gif' alt='Wild & Crazy' border=0></a>

got to do some errands tonight. spent a lot of time on the computer today and had fun with it.

ocm: what i need you to do is at the end of each day starting with oct 3, post on the lottery thread and just state, hahaha you lost, still with child here..........

if you can't post late in the evening the day after, then have pam or mic help you.
i will be out of town for 12 days.

if you post, do so 24 hours after the guess date has passed...........

I ate it years ago, then it seems like you couldn't buy it for awhile or something...something about mercury...can't remember...anyway...I guess it was ok...not a very good answer..I like haddock for thay 'type' of fish...

Well, pizza is something that I like...alot<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/29/29_5_14.gif' alt='Pizza' border=0></a>...and it likes me so much, that if I were to have eaten any tonight...I'd be wearing it immediately I'm sure on my hips, or someplace that I don't want to wear it...LOL...

I've come to the point of really not craving anything I'm not supposed to have...it really didn't bother me to pick up the pizza for them, even knowing I wouldn't eat any...I can say that sometimes I would like to have something that isn't good for me...but to say that I crave anything anymore, I really don't...that is a GOOD thing! If I get to my "place" where I'd like to be, then I can have a "goodie" once in a while, but for now, I'm better off just staying away from anything tempting...unless of course it is like this guy....him I could be tempted with ....

its an internal personel problem, and a publicity problem, we have one member that happens to be chairman of event that wants to turn it into a carnival with a bunch of games and pagents and stuff,, instead of encouraging and emphasiseing the cook off,, shes pushing the games and junk, and wanting to make the cook off a secondary part of the event, we are planniung on taking over next yera and relegating her to a support role,, ( like holding the occuppied sign on the port a johns)she never sent out infoi to local tv stations, and used her number as a contact number , but a messagew on her machine may take days to get responded too, she also has kids that take messaghes and never deliver them, but every time we try and get the number listed as a differnt one she has a fit, so we let her go, shes the type that nothing happens unless she had her hands in it, and her idea of delegateing authority is calling and sayiung oh yeah, we need you to go pick up donated items for a silent auction,,, before telling me we were even having an auction, and then after i asked what items,, she wanted me to go door to door at local businesses and asak for any items we couldauction off,, instead of letting me concentrate on our fod service needs and bbq related stuff. she vetoed me having any outdoor product retailers on site, but they can have an auction trying to auction off flower arrangements from the christmas clearance room, or a candle set from last valentines day,, next year either dw or i are in charge or we are not participating.

Night ocm, and a final Happy Birthday to the little one...about an hour left of her "special" day....glad it was happy!

Froggy, I can understand your frustration, been there an done that with a baseball tournament we ran some years ago when son played baseball...I can tell you you have to have people who take the commitment seriously or like what is happening with your cookoff happens, it all kinda falls apart at the seams. We ended up having a VERY successful tournament, in thanks to people that listened and followed instructions. We had committees for each area that needed addressing and it worked very well. I was in charge of the concession stand and cooked my patootie off to make it work...and we made some nice $$ because of my efforts and those that helped me. People want good eats at events like this, especially when they have travelled from a distance to attend.

finally getting the hair done today..........it takes 2 and 1/2 hours for the foiling....
but worth it..........
