wow, we make some new friends and he comes bearing gifts and breakfast...what more could we ask for

I totally agree!!! I'm spoiled in a lot of ways...maybe not monetarily (we are not rich by any means) but am blessed with a great hubby, kids, and my "family" here..

We don't always exchange gifts for birthdays etc., after all these years, it isn't a priority, but at least I'm told HB or whatever, and we usually do go out to dinner for birthday/anniversary..our birthday's are only 2 days apart, so makes celebrating easy!! plus he CAN'T forget mine...I'm an "older" woman, by 2 whole days!!! I always tell him doesn't mean he wasn't baking first...I just came out of the oven before him

I'm off to run some errands, hope to see you later...ed is all "routed" so he's good to go...Big Dude might bring us a late night snack, and jules usually stops in at night....hope we hear from Froggy...and mac, wherever you are...be careful!!

To tell you the truth other than the scenary I was never impressed with Hooters ( the restaurant) but I like wings and Beer.

Never had them, but I hear they are good, I have a butcher shop in town I buy our meat from, its always so much better than the supermarkets.

lunch looked delicious, so sorry I was out...did you get your tummy full?? yummy....that Big Dude knows his food....

I have ordered from Omaha Steaks as a gift, they said the steaks were good, and they also got free hamburgers and said they were delicous, big and didn't shrink when cooked...that's all I know about them....

That car is lucious, and I don't have to use car seats but when I'm babysitting, not on a regular basis...so I'm raising and lowering to perhaps have a shot at winning it...

it is so stinkin' humid out, I hate it...and I had a pretty good shopping expedition today...got some more sale goodies....my "hoping" clothes, hope I drop a few more lbs. so they fit perfect....LOL....

Raw Meat, even going into the meat aisle at the gorcery store grosses me out. DH takes steaks to work with him for lunch and then grills at home for dinner. But, since I dont want to go near the stuff, I just ordered it online for him. This way, I dont have to see it

I am going to have a cookout for my kids b-day party soon. So, I will have to touch the stuff eventually

I dunno why raw meat is grossing me out. I swear, the way am acting about it you would almost think I am pregnant

Seriously, I think it is just the look of it. The meat aisle and the seafood ailse are just off limits right now. I have an extremely weak stomach. So, smells and gross looking things really make me sick. For example, not pregnant, I may be able to go to the zoo, but I cannot go near the elephants, monkeys, or any other odors with throwing up. Pregnant, I cant go near the zoo without throwing up.

I had to take the gluclose test today. You know, the one where you have to drink the sugar and then wait an hour. Well, it took 3 times becuase the frist two attempts it would not stay down. I hate that test.

What are your plans this weekend, besides shopping

Sorry you have such a sensitive tummy, must be the pits to be moved to yuckin' up over smells and looking at things...I'm pretty fortunate,I've got a pretty strong stomach...I don't think I ever remember morning sickness with my kids...guess I was lucky...

No real plans, hubby has been working tons of hours, covering vacation hours, so haven't seen him but for like 1 hr. this morning, he is gone now until tomorrow morning...I'll stay out of his way too, when tired....oh my, what a bear....

His sister is having her own cake/ice-cream to celebrate the big 50 tomorrow, so we will go to their house for awhile...she HAS everything and I went round and round trying to find some kind of a gift today...she'll be happy with it.

I have what are known as on-call shifts for work Sat & Sun. so I won't know til morning if I need to go in or not....I hope not, I'm enjoying being a computer lizard...which is similar to a lounge lizard...so you get the drift....

I might go read for awhile...I won't "talk" about it...don't need to have the sky fall again...
