Morning all!



I am starting to get ready for the trip...you know making the kids try on shorts, and shirts that they will be wearing to make sure they fit. I want to make sure they have enough clothes becaus I AM NOT DOING LAUNDRY the whole week!!!

I did buy some new tennie boppers and I have to say that they are sooooo comfy. I did try to go for a walk in them and didn't get to far and my foot did start hurting but I was walking pretty fast. When i causally walk i am fine. I did buy a pair of sandals too...i went to Comfort Plus and found those. They aren't the cutest things but they sure are comfortable. Hopefully between those 2 pairs my foot will come out okay.



Have any of you done that photo pass thing? You pay $100 for it. I am kinda thinking about it.

pam, i have done the photo pass 2 times and bought the cd.
to me it was worth it.
i go solo and would use the pass card every time i went to the park.
you pay one flat fee for any amount of pictures to be on the cd.
think it includes up to 350 pics.

i had very few cm's use my camera take my picture for me. it only happened in the mk

the photo pass is well worth it if you have over 100 pics on the disc.

get to the doctor about your foot.
i get steriod injections before my trip so i can have comfort there.

you don't want to have foot pain in the land of joy.

I have finished the last of the ceremonies. Some of it was more painful to watch than others. My grandparents had been together for more a little over 59 years. I can only imagine losing someone I had been living with for over 1/2 a century.

The most touching thing to me was to see about 6 of my moms brothers and sisters and a few of my cousins on my moms side show up. My dad is the oldest of 7 and my mom the 3rd oldest of 13. So a lot of my dads siblings would come hang out with my moms younger siblings while my mom and dad were dating through high school and then once they got married. Because they were the older ones, my aunts were about 7 when they first started dating. So the two families really grew up together. My dad's sisters always talk about how much fun they had with my mom's family and how much of an older sister my mom was to them. It was really neat to hear and very sweet of my mom's family to come support all of my dad's family.

i'm so sorry you have had to go through the loss of a loved one.
it was a good thing the families united for this time.

AI was nice to watch after tivo'ing it....fforwarded thru most of the bologna and got to the grand kick off...'bout time...and Brooke is annoying me with her 'talking back' all the time and the tears and the Miss Nicey-Nice....perhaps she is like that, but she seems to me that she is putting on. I really have lost major interest in the whole thing. Mariah almost had a dress on she wears nothing well though

i snagged 3 RTs for October (Sat & Sun NSs) for less than $522 total

Good morning, afternoon and evening....I was pretty busy at work today, so not much chance to socialize...I did pop on almost at quitting time and read, but no time to post...had to leave on the dot to meet dh, son/gf for dinner at Olive Garden...it was nice to get together.

Son has had an aching shoulder for some time...long story...readers digest version gf works in orthopedic office, so set him up to see doctor, doctor says it could be this or that, go for MRI, MRI shows an extra piece of bone that actually is causing tears in his bicep I guess when he moves...get this, the specialist wants to confer with other drs. in practice cause he has never seen this before good grief, my child is a freak of nature we did have a laugh about it, but it could mean surgery to remove the extra cartilege. His friend told him to update his resume and put P. T. Barnum as a reference We are whacked, what can I say

KS, glad you had good feedings for all three meals while ordering lunch Never been in a Red Robin, closest one is about 35 miles or so away, so have never been, but must try it, I hear good things about them. Glad you can hold off on eye also. I checked the 15% off deal with SW...the dates we are going to Disney are the ONLY dates blacked out now doesn't that have MY name written all over it. Nothing better yet for our trip next month...guess we got the best we is gonna git

Ok, back to watching baseball game......I'm stuffed and tired...it was around 80 degrees here today and same tomorrow...treating myself to a pedicure so I can wear sandals on Monday, my feet were dieing to get in them today, but my toes needed sprucing up first

i probably won't as most of my friends say the one in our area is below par to the chain.


red robin.....mr mac and i went last week to it for the first time.
i wasn't impressed with it.

it was just ok and not on our list to repeat again.

they say you get unlimited soda and fries when you do the basket deal.

what they say and what really happens is two different things.

it took our gal 10 minutes for a soda refill.
the fries took longer.


hope your son finds out what is going on inside him.

maybe he is the bionic man?

i've never had chicken & dumlings (they look like undercooked bisquits to me); will have to give them a try next time i see them on a buffet.

sorry to hear you didn't like red robin ; their teriyaki burger is to die for...drool; i have a rec. somewhere i found on the internet - never tried it though. We have to beat the servers off @ our joint ; just say "no" to more fries. DH had a decadent looking orange smoothy something or other, i had some restraint & had a rootbeer

mic - your poor son ; hope he's not in too much pain & has insurance . What's the odds of your dates being blacked out , gee whiz...maybe a DING will still pop up

I almost had a heart attack when I was getting ready to file the copy of ressie in my "book" of complusive planning. The flight home was wrong . To add insult to injury, when I booked the 1st ressie it didn't apply the DING code; so i had to cancel it & rebook #2.

I called SW again this evening & rep walked me thru the steps to make sure i didn't "mess up" selecting the flight i really wanted. Went all the way to purchase & cancellation...and the flight reverted back to the one I didn't want. At this point i had 2 wrong ressies paid for .

She decided that we'd cancel the earlier one & use the credit on yet another ressie; went thru again & it worked just fine . Cancelled the last ressie.

Interesting that the credit card company never called me to inquire as to why I was booking so many ressies today; you'd think having 4 ressies would've raised a "flag"
