TEST (part 2)

went to work today.
started during 2nd period at the high school.

the zee bees are #1 in the state boys basketball and are now downstate for the finals.

i had to work today.
we aren't doing much but being excited about the upcoming game.
our high school is zion benton township hs.
the zee bee is a play on the initials for a team mascot.


yea, the bee...............i don't get it but bee stings do hurt a lot. especially if you are barefooted and step on a bee or get stunk on the fingers when you are picking up the apples on the ground.........
we have apple trees.
have to pick up the apples once they fall.
fight with the bees over them.....

anywho, went to work today and working tomorrow.
skool lets out before 1 pm tomorrrow as a celebration for the 6:30 game tomorrow night. its about a 3-4 hour drive from here to peoria illinois.

Is that the same as the bird & the bees?

Zee Bees is very catchy i'm scared of them though, bad reaction from wasp few years ago out of the blue, wound up in hospital rarely wear perfume except in the winter anymore.

pam - i always took great pains not to send my DSs to school when they were obviously sick, know it's hard for people with kids in day care, still it'd be nice if they had emergency backup plans? So easy for them to spread a bug.

Not much happening, typical day around here...no one can find anything and they always seem to think I have it.....

Mic - Yep, gas prices drive me nuts. I will never buy gas from Exxon Mobile again. In my mind they are the absolute worst.

You know it is a compliment that everyone comes to you for what they can't find. It means they think you know everything!

Janet - I'm glad jr. is feeling better. Thankfully he will have the whole weekend to catch up on his missed work. When Mikey misses school he never even has to bring anything home. He finishes it all in class. We have block scheduling - 4 classes a semester, finish a year's work in a semester per class, classes are an hour and a half long. And of course 2 of his classes are blow offs, Agriculture & Athletics.

Dh let Ally stay at grandma's Monday instead of going to scholl cause she had a tummy ache. Tuesday she brought home 12 pages from Monday & 4 that she didn't finsih Tuesday because they had a play to go to. It all had to be turned in Wednesday. They only get one night per day missed. I was furious! Of course 1/2 of it isn't even graded. It is just busy work. No wonder she doesn't like going to school.

ks--glad your ds is feeling better. One of my parents came early yesterday and said the her ds has strep throat...the same son that plays with aubrey every day at recess

I'm trying to get things in order for trent's confirmation party on sunday. Have a big ole' list and seems that it just keeps growing instead of getting shorter

DSs tennis game cancelled, came home w/o any homework, 3 teachers out sick...next week will be busy in my house

RATS heading out to Bob's neck of the woods (Canton) tomorrow, we were going to head out & catch the football hall of fame 1st but, jr has his Smash Bros Tournie - round 2 tomorrow afternoon!

oh my, what will the test team do without us? actually I won't be computerless, so I'll be checking in...with the time difference I can get on late and catch up with everyone...it is back to 3 hrs. difference in time for us again with DST

My friend and I had to get out for lunch, so we went to Subway...it was nice just to get away for 45 minutes. It is quite nice still...and its Friday and only about 1.5 hr. left

morning all!

draggin' here this morning had to get trent up and going as he has to leave at 7:15 by bus for band. Then I am off to an in-service for daycare...i need 12 hours a year and with this one it puts me at 10 hrs. and then I have to take my CPR again in April so that will give me 13 hrs. I am trying to get it done early this year because last year I wasn't so good

I have to find time today to get groceries and finish cleaning my house. I don't know why I am even bothering cleaning though becuase with 15 adults and 15 kids it will just get messed up again.
