Raining and yucko here......blech...and when I say rain, it is raining cats and dogs....was icy this morning, mostly on trees, roads were drivable...still some hanging on the trees and they are so pretty

I still doubt I can make WDW twice, I just can't afford it twice within a month...you gals chatted about any other type of get together? LMK...and I totally understand if you still do the WDW....that would be awesome

mic - That weather sounds yucky! The ice is pretty hanging from the trees until it ruins them. There were so many tress ruined here it looks like a tornado came through.

Well I finally made my reservations today for our trip this summer. I waited too long and had to waitlist for the first three days. If it doesn't come through I'll book a room someplace we haven't stayed yet. So now we have a studio at VWL for July 16th - 27th and Vero Beach July 28th - August 1.

Yes, we were chatting about a meet. Kicking around ideas. I said I would love to do a cruise around Italy. Then I said lets go to Disneyland Tokyo!! I suggested Disneyland Paris. I thought about Disney World Hong Kong. We could do a short 6 day tour of England. Finally, I said..lets just take a cruise on of the entire western half of Europe. They have 13 day cruises that go to a bunch of different countries.


Then Pam told me I wasn't allowed to come up with anymore ideas

I seem to recall there being some mention of the drama surrounding your son's confirmation. Maybe a time or two... or three. Including the standby sponsor whom you had to treat to a thank you lunch after the fact, if I recall.

Remember the shock and fuss when I mentioned that the Priest at our Catholic Church is married? Whoosh.

I think Disney World is one of the better choices, if nothing else, because clearly we all enjoy it or we wouldn't be on these boards at all.

Disneyland would be my next choice, but that is a lot farther for a lot more people.

Feel free to throw out other ideas. (I still like the cruise of Italy)

I love meets but intercontinental ones are completely out of my budget. I'm limited to WDW and or Baltimore. I could probably go a little west if need be though (like Nebraska, west PA, or somewhere in between this and Cali).

I've met some of you and have been convinced that you are the greatest folks in the world. I couldn't have been more blessed to meet you.

OK, 7:30 pm here. I'm known for breakfast's. Let's see what I can come up with tonight.

Being close to Philadelphia, Cheese steaks come to mind.

How about some White Castles?(PS these are Mid Atlantic state burgers that are great when you are buzzed at 1:00 am in the morning)

we didn't answer you because we didn't know anymore about it. I think ocm just asked who was willing to go to WDW July 24-27 just to get ideas. Nothing is set in stone yet as far as I know. We are just trying to figure out who will all be willing to go.

OCM has some great ideas but none that I could do...maybe if i win the lottery we will all get to go on that cruise. First i guess i have to start playing the lottery



I probably won't watch the super bowl...not my thing...if i do watch it, it will be for the commercials


Dave's last day was today so he is not a coke pusher anymore. He handed the car, gas card, computer, cell phone, and keys to his warehouse today.

I may go solo on the Italian cruise this summer. I have never been on a cruise before, but I really want to go back to Italy. When I was younger and I asked Lee to go, he would say, "Go ahead. I have no desire to go to Europe." I think I am finally going to just go..somwhere.


I am on my way to the gym. I have step class. Then we are going to meet up with another family to go bowling.

Hi all - I'm doing a quick fly by post before I get ready for work.

We had about 9 inches of snow here yesterday, and my DD was called off school. My 2 girls spent the whole day with me at work, and were very excited to get home so they could play in the snow

Tonight is the Hannah Montana 3D Movie, and the girls are so excited to go Hopefully there will be less screaming than at the actual concert, I don't know if my ears can handle that again

Steve, I saw you briefly on the Drive Thru thread. I loved the "feeling guilty" comment.
I only posted a couple of times and then ran far, far away. That thread had POINTS possibilities written all over it.

I am trying to dig in around here and do some big cleaning. We are trying to get away to Florida in 2 weeks for the Daytona 500. IF we are able to go, my in laws will be staying here. My MIL is a clean freak. You couldn't just eat off her floor, you could perform major surgery without fear. Anyway, she doesn't ever say anything about how I keep my house or anything like that... but knowing that she has a tidy soul and that they will be doing us a huge favor, I would like to at least try to have things neat-ish if they are staying here.

I'll try to check in later!

not a whole lot going on here today. Trent has confrimation and noah has a game a little later and that is it for my running today.


Think I may do some cleaning myself today. I really need to get some deep cleaning done and I want to get to the closets at sometime. I would like everything done before my summer help starts as I always say I am going to do it when she gets here but always end up running the kids here and there and never get to it.

tricia--my mil is the same way. If she comes here to watch the kids she is always doing something. Cleaning my windows, dusting, or washing my dishes. She is not the type of person to just sit
