Yeah baby!

Were you doing Austin Powers? I totally heard Austin Powers in my head when I read that! :rotfl:

why wait till tomorrow.
right now it is -3 here and the wc brings it to -22

:cold:

I was flipping through the channels last night after Biggest Loser (I watched AI during commercials... I'm sorry, I can't give up the opportunity to watch Bob...). Anyway, when I went past the Weather Channel I saw poor Jim Cantore standing out in the snow, so I stopped and watched for a minute. He was broadcasting from the tarmac at O'Hare. He was telling us that the snow was hitting his face, melting, and then refreezing immediately. That guy is nuts. I love him.

It is NEVER a good sign when Jim "Hunker Down" Cantore is broadcasting from your city. :scared:

:surfweb:

It's a very very cold morning here in the Chicago area :cold:
I'm posting later than normal, because my DD has a 2 hour delay due to the awful winter weather we had last night. My DH is thinking they'll cancel school, but I don't know about that  I guess we'll soon find out!!!!'

Have a good day today everyone!!

loribell - I'm sorry the doctor wasn't much help yesterday :guilty: I sure hope the doctor today will be able to help you:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: , because it's horrible seeing your kids not feel 100%:guilty:

Lori - hope the dr is better for you today.

Thanks for the encouragement, I was able to pull my big butt out of bed and workout. Although, it wasn't the best workout again..at least I did it.:thumbsup2

Ed - Your sword and shocks are the perfect celebration for hump day.

Slo - did they close school?

Mic - stay warm up there. I know it is suppose to be wicked cold.

Keisha - good luck to Mr KS at the eye dr.

Tricia - stay warn up there. Freezing and refreezing on your face is never a good broadcast

This weekend it is suppose to be back in the 60s again. Let's hope..I'm so tired or 40s and 50s.

Mac - is today a slower day for you?

Pam - did you ever get those kids off the walls and back to acting a little more normal?

Did we lose Barb?

Morning all!

It is a balmy 3 degrees here right now.

I only have one thing to say about those shocks......BRING IT ON!!!!!!:hyper:

Tricia - stay warn up there. Freezing and refreezing on your face is never a good broadcast

Did we lose Barb?

Oh, I was feeling sorry for Mac since I saw Jim Cantore in her neck of the woods. I'm down here in Georgia. We're only going to be in the 40s today, but supposed to climb back into the 50s and 60s by the weekend.

And Barb has a terrible schedule some days. Her son is in karate (or tae kwon do... something that involves him achieving Black Belt status) and she works 2 part time jobs that keep her hopping. She usually checks in everyday, but sometimes she'll go missing for a day or two.

You guys can keep that arctic weather thanks.

It's 34 degrees here right now and its going to 45. :thumbsup2

Doctor was much better this morning. Got a better prescription for antibiotics instead of that worthless zythromax that they are all presribing these days. Also gave him a sample of stronger Advair to get asthma back under control.

I will gladly give you encouragement anytime you need it. Just keep going!

That's me and you next week Sweets !! YOU are the one swimming. :lmao:

:scared1:

So you can call me at 6:15 in the morning but you can't say HI here??? :headache:

HAPPY HUMP DAY TESTERS !!

But you knocked her into the water! :snooty:

To all of you suffering through those unbelievable temps - stay warm and safe!

Have a great day everyone!

Okay, I'm going to defend Nebraska right now....I can promise you that we are all NOT like that. :scared1:

so many sang country and yodeled.......
i was looking for you there pam...
thought you would give it a go and be one of the yellow sheet people.

don't u hate when your kids come up with that last minute load of laundry that just HAS to be done by am:mad:

i'm shooting for 10,000 tonight; off to watch pam's buds;)

you will be running with the big doggies very soon.

had to come home to roll over the spedometer:dance3:

i'm a big dog now;)

speaking of dumb pooches, mine is holed up under the deck & there's an icestorm (confirms my suspicion that she is truly an idiot), wish me well crawling into the 2-1/2 ft space to drag her out...might be snakes (or do they hibernate?)

and you came home to share the news. congratulations.
i always come back here to home when the big ones hit.

yea, my mailbox went down again so no mail here.

sweets: i am proud you went to the gym today. that is good to keep the routine no matter how blah you feel at times.

mic: how were the roads for you for work? what date do you go see mom?

keisha: maybe your tundra will melt before mine. i would have taken two donuts......be like homer! take 3...

slo: we did not have our schools cancelled. the elementary will not have recess outside. the high school never shuts down as most of the kids are bussed in or drive in to school. hope you get people in your shop today.
offer them free doughnuts and keisha and i will show up.

tvt: another party coming up, that is kewl. sweets would probably love to live in florida, just like the rest of us. i can't imagine anyone swimming as cold as it is today.

lori: fire that doctor and get a new one. i have had to do that before.

tricia: yup, brab stays with a busy schedule during the week. she also works saturdays which is a bummer
did you ever use the duct tape on the kid?

bob: playing golf in florida, how bad can that be..........send us a postcard

ed: did you install the shocks for pam yet?
you will find her in the closet..

who did i forget?
i'll look back and make it up to you....

stay warm.
if you wet your pants outside today, things fall off.

Clearly..I dont pay attention at all. Which part of Georgia are you in? Im in Lawrenceville

HI TONY

And you should feel honored. You are the only person I would call at 6:15am. Well, except for my aunt and my mom who are all up then too.

Clearly..I dont pay attention at all. Which part of Georgia are you in? Im in Lawrenceville

I'm in the northeast foothills. The bustling city of Cleveland.

I used to live in Norcross... before I met my husband and was dragged kicking and screaming out here to the boonies. ;)

Afternoon and a long one it is.....:headache:

All was fine this morning traveling to work, rain had stopped, just the usual loonies on the road who travel in the left lane when they are passing NO ONE...and won't get over, even when half the state is passing THEM in the right hand lane :confused3 I just want to roll down the window and say "your point is"?

I flash them when they do that. It ticks me off to no end.
