I've been meaning to ask - what's the history behind this thread?
Are everyone teachers here?
When someone gets a chance, please fill me in

LOL..we have some very educated peeps on the test thread...I'm not one of them but they love me anyway

the thread started in july 03.
i was testing a new countdown clock.
i went thru the steps and still did something wrong.
i had a countdown test clock but everyone else lost theirs.

after a mod posted on the board 3 times for me to stop, i did.
i was a newbie and didn't know they were talking to me.
i also received many hate pm's that day from posters who had problems with their tickers then. everyone blamed me.

the mod was correcting an issue and then i was to redo my steps to TEST it.
being green, i had no idea what was happening.
i only knew i wanted a countdown clock ticker and screwed up that thread of others while doing so unintentionally.

after crying for sometime, i went back to the computer and tried again to do a countdown clock for one last time.

i waited awhile and then went back to see if i did it correctly.
what i noticed was people posted on that "thread" i created.
yup, i got a countdown clock but in the process made it a new thread....

many of the ones that post here today are original members.

some of their replies were a hoot.
ocm: ok, i'll take that test but i demand 100%, no 98% for me

other comments,
test......ouch, i hate shots....

can i cheat on that test?


what do i win if i get the test answers correct?



it turned into a joke thread

after things settled down, we all got to know each other and picked up others along the way.


i'm a teacher and would end my posts with in the beginning.


so, the #2 pencils are not necessary for posting on the test thread.

we get silly and tell newbies, ok, join us but take a test first.

it's just joking around with that.


did you see what i posted on chicago #2 yet?


came back to add, not new threads but newer threads.
on one of the regular threads i post about the tag fairy, i lost my original and received new ones.
i was given back the wpasadi tag i received sometime back

Oh, and DH just had a birthday one week ago. He turned 51. Just try to convince him that he is young enough to handle another one.

And my mind? I think it leaked out during the last Teletubbies binge that DS2 went on. "Tubbie custard, Tubbie custard!"

Hey Todd....I got the nutz to answer that question.... Kennedy & Taft are buried in Arlington (saw for myself when i wuz there ) and I believe Andrew Johnson was the unedumacated one

Did I pass?? Do I get to be on the 'cliquey' thread now?

ocm - I am in the process of planning our trip now. Need to get those ressies made, of coure that means I gotta decide where to stay. We are planning to arrive in Orlando July 10th. I am still working on how long we will be staying but I think we will be there until the 28th or so.

The thing with this thread is to keep up. You'll get close to us fast. We get to know all about each other the good the bad and the juicy. Often we share information that others didn't really want to know

Yep....these type of chats move fast.....hard to keep up sometimes...but the nice thing is nobody really expects you to keep up....just play nice!

You never forget shout outs...I get caught up in a 'moment'...LOL...something I want to answer, feel like I'm answering all the little comments and BOOM, I've forgotten someone...not meaning too, just my blondeness and age kicking in and of course, nothing personal about it...I'll catch your comment next time for sure!!

i would not want to go back and do sesame street all over again.
really, i am behind in the times of what littles are watching now a days.

i raised mine with movies.
Terminator was the first one they watched.

they always went to bed when told to for a month after seeing that movie.

i promised them the robot eyes would not bother them if they went to their beds and feel asleep right away.


it did give me a month of peace at night time.......
