Morning for the second time...now I'm at work and have a minute.

Glad all the kids are excited about Halloween, I can remember being SO excited, but then, back in the age of dinosaurs, we got excited over the little things. Our trick or treat was Saturday  from 6 to 8. It is for younger kids mostly. With the clocks not having changed, it was light out still for about the first hour and really, to me spoils the fun of it. I figure if they are doing 6 to 8, they could have it today, but whatever. They have a party and stuff for the kids downtown so I guess Sat. is better. Hope all the little goblins enjoy themselves!

How is Trent feeling Pam? and KS, your son doesn't eat candy :confused3 actually, what a lucky child...wish I didn't like it:laughing: I should lay off it as it is something that irritates my stomach issues...but I LOVE it...been real good though, haven't had any in since last week.

Gant, love when you stop by. And yes, you are the official investigator of team test..:rotfl:

So, I go to pick up the prescription the doctor prescribed for my stomach..."sorry, your insurance won't cover this, you need to take something else or have your doctor call and authorize this medicine"...ok, what the heck is a prescription if not an authorization to take a med?? :confused3 Oh, and if I wanted to pay out of pocket, it was $142. So, I've called the dr's office to try and straighten it out. They gave me some samples and it is really helping, that is what makes me so mad. I hate insurance co. I've hardly used our insurance all the years we've had it, and now when you want to use it, you go thru all this bs.

Mac, they have not suggested I need surgery for the h. hernia, so with diet and the prescription (the one I can't get) I should live with it fine. The diverticulitis is mostly controlled with lots of fiber in the diet. We have been switching to whole wheat pasts and I have always eaten whole wheat bread, so I just have to add some extra fiber to my diet. Hell to get old, ain't it:headache:

KS, that guy is freaky looking....:scared1:

So I go to pick up the prescription

Happy Halloween! :) :)

Yep, the boys are really excited about tonight -- the only question will be how long Ryan will last trick-or-treating. He'll want to be out as long as his big brother (last year, when I brought him home early then headed back out with Cam, he freaked out  ), but I don't think he'll last all 2 hours. Heck, I don't know if Cam will last 2 hours. :rotfl:

See you all in, oh, about 11 days or so -- we leave at 5:50am tomorrow morning. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

ed--took a quick glance at your pics:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I will look at them a little better when I have more time....off to go make the kidlets some snack

Happy Halloween everyone!

just now making it to the test here.
left very early this morning to take care of a lady's cats while she is on vacation.
after that, went straight to work.

home now from skool.................and second shift of cat herding.

have to run to the grocery store so i can make dinner.
catch you later tonight.

Happy Halloweenie Friends....the big night is here....hope all the little ones have a blast

I agree, just where are you off to Mr. Bob at 5:50 tomorrow??? You didn't tell us, what is up with that :confused3

Ed, great photos, and again, the boys are growing!! I love the costumes and the one with the whole family is so cute. Thanks for sharing....

KS, are you having a frightfully fun evening...I know you revel on this day

Mac, you are always doing something for someone... you are a good person

Pam, are the cornfields haunted out in Nebrasky? :upsidedow

Halloween is OVER here. Aubrey decided at the last minute that she wanted to be minnie mouse instead of a cheerleader. So we fixed her up...i took pictures so I will have to get them on the computer.

Nope, no haunted cornfields here. Did I tell you that the field behind my house is going to be turned into a k-2 school? I will have the playground right behind my house. Haven't decided if it is a good thing. I really like the space behind my house but I'm sure once that the school is there it will be alright.

Aubrey is starting to act like she is starting to not feel well. she was done tot'ing tonight and that is just not like her. Hope she is just tired.

Have a good night everyone.

we all still having a sugar rush? I ate at least 4 candy bars yesterday...hard not to when you're sitting with a big bowl in your lap.

is bob off to Hawaii? aka the kid-free trip? whatever- enjoy!

ed - thanks for sharing, great pics! the shot of the "nekie":sad1: (i liked the bling) Epcot icon is beautiful. Where did you take it? Never noticed the maroon studio billboard either:confused3 . How :cool1: to have a "headstone" lol @ WDW! My family asked me a few years ago...i told them "if you have to ask you can't afford it" lol.

pam - minnie is always a great choice! We had lots of "dead" cheerleaders last night & princesses.

mic - might want to check & see if the dr. can file an insurance co. appeal (usually good for 1 year, then renewable) to get the fancy, newer drugs? Must be frustrating for you.

mac must be chasing cat-tails:)

morning all!

It's pretty chilly out this morning...in the 30's

I don't think there we as many trick or treaters out last night. Maybe they came later since it wasn't daylight savings time yet. It was kinda nice though because our street wasn't overcome by people that think they own the roads AND we did get rid of all the candy we were handing out.

It seems like this week is taking FOREVER!!! I can't wait till tomorrow is over and the weekend is here.

hi test buddies.....

got up at 4 this morning.
had to take one son to chgo airport at 4:30.
boy, was traffic bad this morning.

once i dropped him off, went to do the cats of that lady from church.
from there, went straight to work.

worked today and working again tomorrow.
it is starting to become a full time job which is cramping my style....

off to watch CSI.
bbl unless i fall asleep

i must have fallen asleep during forensic files last night....

off to work soon.

gee, this is becoming a real job.

happy friday to all
have a great day.

the weekend is about to begin!

:dance3: good morning, good morning...the best to you each morning:yay:

ever get one of those old ditties stuck in your brain?

have a good one...it's Friday, all day!

Good Friday morning...I apologize for missing class yesterday so I guess I failed the test:guilty: We had a LOT of drama first thing yesterday morning at work (you know working with women is a full time job in itself keeping everyone from each other's throats;) ) so I didn't get on here. Then last night, I put the computer on, never signed onto AOL, fell asleep while Survivor was on...and that was 8:15  Tried rewinding and watching it and never did get through it, so finally just said the heck with it and turned the lights out...I was still tired this a.m....I think all of last week and being so uptight about my tests that I had lost a lot of sleep and needed to play catch-up...anyway, I'M BACK :goodvibes

KS, your decorations are wonderful! I love them and you guys do a great job. I like the pirate theme thingy and may file that away in my mind for my yard. LOVED it....your son is a cutie also and what a perfect kitty for Halloween! what is it's name?

Mac, sorry you are working alot, but think of all the booty you can save for another trip to the World :cool1:

Our MIA's need to drop in, we worry and wonder if things are ok....:grouphug: and was Bob off to Hawaii? cool......I went to Hawaii 30+ years ago and loved it, it is a beautiful place, I'd love to go back, but I'd never go for $635 for 2 weeks again...yep, that is what we paid, and that was airfare to/from, hopper planes between islands, hotels and some tours. Those days are long gone.

Pam, you did mention the school going up behind you, and really, I guess that is better than a shopping mall or something, at least with a school, traffic and people will be less and you know when school is in at least. Hope it doesn't crowd you though. Around here, every piece of ground they can put something on, they are doing it. It is sad actually. Our county was always a big farming area, and now all the farms are being sold off to developers :sad2: so now instead we have lots of houses, malls and no roads or enough schools to support all the growth. And of course taxes keep hiking up and we get nothing for it.

DS moves tomorrow :sad1: but it is only 15 miles away, so I'm doing ok with it. I'll miss my baby moving out, but it's time and he ain't breakin' mama's heart by moving 2000 miles away.......yet anyway. They say they want to live in England

morning all!

mic--England???? that is a LONG ways away!! I am sure he will do what is best. I have been really tired lately too. I think it is all the running i have been doing. I am looking forward to just hanging out tonight and tom. Then sunday it will be off to Noah's basketball game.

KS--I was going to ask--is that your middle son? He is a cutie:love:

Mac--you have been working alot but the money is always nice. just think you will have it all saved up for next years vacation.

ed--i went back and looked at your pictures and I have to say that you take some pretty cool pictures:thumbsup2 Your boys are so cute!!

Yes, where are all the MIA's????????

Hey all, I'm still here. Fighting off the remenents of a cold.

Big game this weekend Pats and Colts.

Looks like we will catch the edge of a Hurricane this weekend

Not the First Noel I was hoping for.

Hey all, just checking in mid-afternoon...I swear, the drama around this place at times:rolleyes: I'll be glad for the 5 o'clock bell

Ed, hope you feel better soon

We may end up getting some of that rain also from that storm also depending on how close to shore it passes...as long as it's a nice rain, we need it, and not torrential
