Hey mac...glad you made a fast getaway today
Pam, hope the sicky stuff passes quickly and the rest of you don't come down with it...
So, my tests yesterday showed more problems with my stomach, esophagus area then what has been hurting

I had some polyps removed, I do have diverticulitis and I do have the hiatel hernia as suspected and also some weird thing called a Schatzski's ring, and mine is highly inflamed from acid reflux. He put me on a strong prescription (sorta like Prilosec but not that one) and I go back in 4 weeks, and maybe at 8 weeks, I will have to have my esophagus stretched where this "ring" is. All is caused by the acid reflux...so oh joy......

I had a great anesthetist and I dropped right off to sleep and never felt a thing...thankfully. I did get after the nurse when after 3 tries she couldn't start the IV in my hand...I told her 'you've stuck me enough and you are not sticking me 50 times"...I finally showed them my 'good' vein and another nurse got a line in it first time. They never seem to think we know our own bodies I guess.
Anyway, it is all 'behind' me now....

can you imagine having that job everyday??

although I'm sure the pay ain't bad.....no sore throat or anything today from the scoping down the throat, so all in all, it wasn't so bad...the unknown is what makes it scary.
Ok, today is about done thankfully.....time to head home
