Ok, I have about a 1/4 done of what I need to do and I'm SICK of it already but ya know what, I'm gonna get done what I can and forgeddabout the rest.........

Pam, enjoy your weather that is good for napping...we are supposed to get the rain/gloom the end of the week, but overall, temps are supposed to be very nice...today is sunny, breezy and mild...

Off to have some cake/ice cream with our niece this evening...big 14th birthday

The game sucked Pam and you know it.... but tomorrow is another day, 'nother game...they are on an even playing field now...like starting over 1 to 1. And by the way, just where is that 'other' team right now??????

Ice cream and cake were good...yum....now it's time to settle down...have to leave a little early tomorrow and drop car off at dealership for regular maintenance...yuck...so much to do almost everyday...I need some down time...maybe after the 1st of next year..

Keep your rain Pam......I want to take the kids to a pumpkin farm and a hayride, and really only have the first weekend they are here...so hope for sunny days next week

Monday morning friends...........WAKE UP AND GET THOSE TOOTSIES ON THE FLOOR ok, if I have to be up a little earlier, so must the rest of you.....but it is the first day moving towards Friday...nah, even that doesn't help, it's still Monday. It's around 43 this morning with promises of 70....so should be a nice day, too bad I'll be inside

Well, gotta move along, leaving in about 1/2 hr. to drop car off then on to work. I can put all my stuff back out on my desk that we had to put away for the weekend, and try to remember where I stashed stuff so it would look all neat and purdy

It's Monday...all day; i'm still tired

mac - i've sung that more than once on a school bus during outings; reminds me of the sheepies i count to dry & sleep...only i start with 100 and work backwards ala anesthia, seems to work better for me.
Hate when it rains on vacation, did u bring a poncho? Did it seem to keep the crowds down?

pam - let's start a VR TA! Too bad there's no money in it anymore, airlines are stingy. Glad ed is safe & sound in the world.

mic - soooo, how did the big event go? Hate to ask if it's going to be an annual affair. Did you know the Dress Barn doesn't have an on-line store anymore? Since you mentioned it, i did a search . Weird thing is it looks as though our local store has been in the process of closing for several months; very little stock. What they have isn't too thrilling imo; seem to be concentrating on jr. type styles. I always thought they were more of a career/special event sort of store, hope they don't change their focus.

I'm looking for a swimsuit coverup. LLBean had them, waited to long to order. All I want is a cotton t-shirt like dress that i can pop over bathing suite & wear to grab a bite to eat in the am on way to pool way too early to start a count 47 days.

what the heck happened with my post?!??!? Seems i did a double post a couple hours apart??? Weird!!!!!

another gloomy/rainy day here!!! suppose to be around 60 here today. I don't thing we are suppose to see any sun until wed. and then we will just get a little....I don't like gloomy weather!!!!

KS--funny when someone is going to disney they always seem to call me and ask me all sorts of questions.

mic--hope my weather doesn't come to you. I think we got around 8 inches of rain yesterday. Dave went out and dumped our rain gauge as it was overflowing at 6 inches....who knows how long it was going over before he dumped it....everything here is a soggy mess.

pam - i was checking out jcp last night. I want (need - ha) something "non-sheer" as i'm modest & want to hide . Have a sleeveless thing with a hood i got from disneyshopping, just feel funny traipsing around public areas in it.

The event went very nicely and I think everyone had a nice time. It was relaxed and the weather perfect. I was beat at the end of the thing, but it was nice to put faces to people I talk to on the phone pretty much every day. The food was so-so, but that isn't our fault but the bar-be-que people...pasta salad was good and of course the cake was delish Even had a beer...glad it is over. It was for 10 yrs., so by the time he reaches 20 yrs., I'll be too old to give a crap and won't be here

The grandbabies called me last night, and the little one said "grandma, I want to come to see you right now"...I told him just a few more days, and they both were excited to tell me they had painted faces on pumpkins. Oldest also asked if leaves were starting to fall off the trees 'out there'... they are amazed at falling leaves...I told him he would have to rake leaves and he said he would watch grandpa do that...LOL...or charge us but he only charges a $1 an hour, so he is hired

Ok, got some work to do...I'll drop by later...I really do not feel like working today.......

the high school called me today to discuss why i have not been answering my phone for the jobs. had a semi good talk and agreed to 4 days of work this month.

it's just too difficult getting back into real life.
had a super 15 days alone, or rather 10 out of the 15 were super.
think i need that again.....

mac - 15 days sounds delightful even if 1/3 was awful...makes the good part even better. gotta work, need to build the vacation war-chest. i'm even starting to ebay, vacations around Xmas are a test of my budget.

mic - event sounded great; being with your family & grandkids - priceless

our leaves haven't started to fall yet, 70 today - 75 tomorrow; nice rest of week...then we crash & burn...due for a "fall" Wonder if we'll skip go & head straight for winter?
