:rotfl: what, no thongs?

mac - it's saturday :woohoo: or bust;) raring to go! Hope you don't get hammered yet again with that big old storm system heading your way.

got my attitude adjustment; feel asleep early & up with the birds @ 4:00 a.m. The cats & I had quality time; we solved all of life's little problems.:thumbsup2

funny saw on the am news that a local restaurant has a new treat on the menu; beer popsicles...i knew i was onto something with the slushy idea.

mic - did you ever watch sopranos? Supposed to be a funny bit on you tube as to ending w/the Pirate Mascots (parrot & pierogi); haven't had a chance to find it yet.

pam - what's on for the weekend?

Good morning.....man, some people are just plain rude...

WAKE UP YOU LAZY BUMS !!

I know I'm a bum, but calling me a lazy one????:confused3 :rotfl:

KS, the beer pops sound interesting...dh does that too, puts them in the freezer to liven them up. He loves Rolling Rock, but I'm not sure if the "brew" will change now that whoever bought them out?? You can always have my "ear/shoulder" when you need it, I have plenty of family issues too and it is nice to know that we have friends who will just give us a shout out or a cyber hug and tell us it will all be ok...that is what friends are for

Yep, I watched the Soprano's finale..WTH was is supposed to mean? I've got my theories, but I thought it was a tad lame after being a faithful follower for all these years...I was kinda let down. Guess it leaves room for a movie or a spin off maybe. If you locate the youtube link, give it to me. Jerry Springer is always a hoot and I've always liked him, even with his ridiculous show, which years ago I watched almost everyday......it is the train wreck you love to watch :upsidedow

It was so nice weather wise yesterday...hope today is the same. May go tan tonight and also need liquid gold in the car so will do all that after work.

Pam, are you tied to a tree yet with all the little 'injuns at your house?

Bob, you feeling better from the weekend?

Ed, how's bout them Sox??:yay:

Mac, you are inching closer to your big fall getaway to the promised land

Momma, are the kiddoes still doing all their bible schools?

and Gant, how was that baseball game? do tell

hey all, it's noon time now.

and it is not hot here, we are finally at 67 degrees. well, there went summer

keisha, i am excited for you. saturday will be here before you know it.
beer popsicles......you should have put a patent out on your beer slushies.
think of the $$$ you would have had by now....

hope you have a great time meeting up with the homies !

mic, i know you are not a lazy bum. just thought you should know that.
maybe tony is projecting......hmmm

how's momma today? at the gym?? mowing the lawn?? making brownies??

and how are our other boys doing? we know tony is at work. we never hear from him when he is there.

ed---bob----gant/mr robot----where are you?

:rotfl: think i'll grab me one of them-there popsicles again...

got 1 suitcase packed, zipperlock missing  picked it up by the side handle & off it came.:rolleyes1 stoopid Macy's:mad:

guess i could duct tape it shut...handy man helper to the rescue.

JCPennys is so expensive, maybe Kmart - think they sell American Tourister? Just what i wanted to do - go shopping.

Soprano's was such a let down, i'm sure a movie is in the works.

Yes, they do show it @ the ballpark (i've eaten @ the diner:laughing: )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZC1jiwKMHc

last year, i bought a 3 piece w/expandable luggage at kmarket.

very cheap for american tourist. on sale and snagged it for $80.

and it's on wheels

pam - what's on for the weekend?

We are doing NOTHING tomorrow night!!! No ONE can talk me into doing anything. Sat. trent is suppose to have 2 games but they are here in town. We don't know if he is going to them yet though as he may go to the CWS instead. Sunday it is dave's birthday:cool1: and we have to take trent to church camp which is a good 3 hrs. away one way.

Pam, are you tied to a tree yet with all the little 'injuns at your house?

Nope, not tied to any trees yet. It has just been really busy here with my trying to keep up with everything not to mention the donation buckets and the cutest baby contest that i am in charge of for the 4th of july celebration for the jaycees here in town.

Then this morning my mom called and said that one of her best friends that i have known since i was a baby has brain cancer. She is a 5+ year pancreatic cancer suvivior and just had a cancer scan not to long ago but they did it from the neck down...not the head. Her husband found her at home and thought she had a stroke but yesterday they found 10 tumors in her brain. Please keep this family in your prayers as they are the NICEST people.

Anyway, hope you all have a great night...i am off to get ready for trent's ballgame and then i have to go pull in the loot for the baby contest.

Oh Pam, so sorry to hear about the family friend, that is awful...lots of prayers and good thoughts coming out your way...I hope they can help her...so sad indeed. You hate to hear news like that, makes all our own troubles seem so inconsequential.

KS, I know you've told me, but my mind is a bit fuzzy most days, tell me this vacation itinerary and what you have planned.

I like Kohl's for stuff like luggage. They usually have stuff for 50% off and then if you have a coupon, you can do real well. Oh heck, just throw everything in a plastic grocery bag, knot it closed and go...:thumbsup2 That is the country folk way to pack :rotfl:

Mac, I'll take your 67 degrees...didn't get much but in the high 80's today, was very nice til a storm barrelled thru and now it is a tad humid, but not so awfully bad, just dark and dank.

Off to watch a little TV after cleaning up supper dishes. We had a light meal, chicken breasts on the grill and I cut up fresh veggies, mixed with whole wheat spaghetti and Italian dressing on it. Not too bad for something different.

Bye.......

pam - so sorry to hear, your mom must be very upset.

i gave up on the luggage; leaning toward duct tape (no yummy dinner for us, McDs yet again - that noodle dish sounds yummy).

We fly away on Sat. am to sunny Orlando (5 nights WL). Boys are excited about finally getting to part. in Star Wars weekend. Trying CA Grill for the 1st time, still have to hem a shift & skirt. Then, off to Univeral/RPR; flying home late on sunday evening.

i've got an ipod shuffle, tends to play the songs that you listen to the most/for me it's evidently the following --- extended version of soft cell - tainted love; fergie - glamourous life & talking heads - psycho killer :upsidedow :rotfl: ...what r u listening to?

Oh the Star Wars weekend, that will be awesome...I knew you were off to Florida, just couldn't remember the details........oh, you are gonna have so much fun.......lucky you...we will miss you, but wish you tons o fun :cool1: Pictures are a must!!

I listened to Fergie, Notorious Biggie Big and Maroon 5 coming home tonight...I have my CD's I make that I play in the car, so I have them pretty well memorized :goodvibes

I keep drifting off watching TV, so may just say the heck with it, turn the light off and close my eyes........

See ya in the a.m. friends

she is very upset. The saddest thing was when she was crying on the phone this morning when she was telling me and then telling me how hard it was to talk about it. It broke my heart to hear my mom in so much pain.

We will miss you bunches..hope you think of us a time or two while you are having a good time in sunny florida. If I don't get a chance to get on here again before you leave I hope you have a great time!

Have a good night everyone and just think....when you open your eyes it will be Friday!!:cool1:

Okay, question of the day.....how the heck do you get super glue off of your fingers??????:confused3 I super glued the baby contest containers down to a piece of cardboard and got some on my hands and I CAN NOT get it off......anyone???????:upsidedow

a product called Goop usually does the trick.

if not, try laundry detergent

lastly, finger nail polish remover

Good Friday morning.......and bon voyage and one more sleep to our departing traveler :cool1: Give Tony a shout out while you are there...it would be cool if you could at least see each other for a little bit

Pam, try what mac said for the super glue, and I've also taken an emory board and filed it off then peeled the rest off...you silly girl

Ok, gotta get outta here, no early morning for me today, the heck with it, I don't feel like an extra 1/2 hr. today....done it most of the week and I'm not doing it today.

See ya later friends....sunny and purdy here this a.m.

think i've still got superglue on my fingers from the 80's:laughing: (big hair & fake nails to match)

If i don't get a chance to stop by, so long - i'll miss 'ya all; plan on boring the heck outta you when i return.:dance3:

thought i would stop by quick to tell KS to have a great and safe trip!!:thumbsup2

I tried nail polish remover....didn't work for me so i just picked it off:rolleyes: I hate working with superglue!!

Dave just took trent to the doctor...he has an ear infection and he is suppose to leave on sunday to go to camp...what is next?!?!:confused3

{{{{{waving madly to KS}}}}}}}

Have a super de dooper trip KS! Hope you have an awesome time, I'll be thinking of you

Pam, sorry Trent is sick, that sucks when he has plans for the weekend

Just got back from dinner out...I had received a gift certificate for my birthday from work, and we just found out Pargo's is closing on 7/3, so figured I better use my gc before then. I'll miss that place, I liked it there :sad1:

Morning Crew!!

I guess I am waking everyone up this morning, but I will do it quietly..and let those who want to sleep in sleep.

Mic - You're kidding??!! I LOVE that restaurant!!! Hope you GC was worth the trip. I can't believe they are taking it down the week before i get there.

Pam - I hope Trent feels better. I hate when they are suppose to leave and they get sick

Mac - that is a really great luggage deal!! I got the Mickey luggage thing, but I dont remember what I paid for it.

KS - have a great trip!! We will miss you

TVT - have a good golf game.

Ok, I have a story for you all. My middle child, if you remember she was the one that cried and cried and cried on stage at her recital. Last night, they had a show at their VBS camp 6-8:30 and Ms Julianna didn't get up when her class (preschool) was suppose to sing. I kept looking and looking and I couldn't find her. She only learned one song and she wasn't up there singing. Then, they called K-1st graders and low and behold, Nico and Julie both were up on stage. Julie had never learned the song, but she was doing all the movements and following along. Then, they called 2nd-3rd graders. There is Julianna again, up there following the other kids. Then 4th graders and Julie. Then 5th graders..and Julie. It was soooo funny. The girl would not get off the stage and I have to say, for never learning any of the other dance moves, she followed the other kids very well.

Good morning friends, those of us who are not off vacationing ;)

I couldn't figure out why last night by 8:30 I felt like if I didn't go to bed I'd fall asleep sitting up, then I remembered taking an antihistamine cause my nose has been running constantly, and they have that effect on me. No kidding, I went to bed at 9:15...I did wake up periodically all night long, but slept til about 8:30 this morning...but my nose wasn't running any more...:rotfl:

Momma, that is hilarious about Julie, what a little ham she has turned in to. I bet everyone thought it was so cute when she kept "moving up" a grade and singing with them...ah, that is a cute memory for years to come. Too funny.

Yep, Pargo's is going. The paper said they would demolish the present building and are putting in an upscale jewelry store :confused3 Dinner was very good, got the salad with shrimp on it, then topped it off with the Brownie a la Mode.... figured I won't get to have it again, so may as well go for it :thumbsup2

Are you coming up here for a visit? How long you staying? Is this for the wedding the kids are in or did they already do that? My mind has gone south anymore and I remember activities everyone is doing, just can't remember WHEN they are doing them :upsidedow

KS must be on her way to the happy place...YAY for her and the family.

Enjoy the weekend friends...

morning all!

got up early and went garage saling with my mom. didn't find anything...didn't want more junk sitting around. I was actually looking for some golf clubs for noah but came back empty handed.

ocm--that is a very funny story about julie. I am glad she had a fun time and was fun to watch;)

I am off in a little bit to for trent's ball game today...i am soooo glad that it is actually here for once.
My mom said that she would take noah and aubrey for us so they don't have to mayd the 6 hr. trip tomorrow.
Trent hasn't even started packing yet so after his games today guess what mom is going to be doing????

Have a good Saturday everyone!!

wow, where is everyone today?!?!

Have to share my proud mommy moment:goodvibes
Trent hit a 2 run homerun today in extra innings to win the game:cool1: He wasn't feeling the best today with his ear infection and everything but he did an awsome job. I am sooo proud of him:banana:

I think we are going to take him out in a bit since he is the only kid here...my mom took the others with her.

I will be back on later on....hopefully there will be more people here or i will have to start talking to myself!
