dh keeping me hopping, tackling lots of chores this week (need to teach him how to relax when on vacation) before we sneak off to Sandusky on Wednesday. Already fixed the garage roof that was leaking, now we're on to replacing the pipes/fixtures to laundry tub...i can't wait to see what we do next.

pam - so sorry to hear, hope your mom remembers the good times with her friend.

gant - that's my mickey mouse waffler - - waffles came out very good too. Glad you're weekend went well.

bob - ditto, nice grandparents to take the youngins.

mic - you feeling any better?

youngest DS has been mentioning a sore throat/ulcers in his mouth since middle of last week. I chalked it up to having the upper braces removed; seems to always develop them when they tinker. He was dragging around yesterday, didn't look good. I took a peek @ his throat, tonsils almost closed! Dr. did a rapid strep test; nothing yet...said there's a virus going around that causes the ulcers & swelling . Told me to give him popsicles & motrin, umm okay?

i don't like it when Mr Mac is off work during the week.
he gets in my way and i have to stay busy all the time so he thinks i always am like that when he is at work..

feeling a little better, wearing down as the day has gone on...but it's time to jump the joint......KS, hope ds feels better, I feel for him right now...although I didn't have an overly sore throat...just lots of congestion and head crap...

we start 2 weeks from thursday I am ready but i'm not ready for it to start. the kids are starting to get bored and driving me crazy but i like having them around.

this year they changed the school schedule.

we used to start school around august 16-17-18 which ever date fell on a tuesday for that week.

now we start this year august 28

i prefer the early start up dates.
