They really have left me alone, I've been in bed most of the day...think dh is getting a sore throat also, so he will be quiet himself...this is the time of evening I feel the worst though.....
off to down some remedy's and get back to watching Miami Vice (which I'm not following too well, it seems like it is all over the place)

Good morning everyone. I hope this day finds our Mic feeling much better. It's raining here today and still very humid (sticky). Will be counting down the time to watch those ad plastered cars make left turns at Indianapolis Motor Speedway later today. Other than that, my town is holding an Old Town Festival this weekend. Went with the little ones yesterday where they enjoyed rides, shaved ice and cotton candy. There are fireworks scheduled for 9:30 tonight. Hope it doesn't get rained out. Mac, thanks for having our backs. Have a great day everyone.

mac--nope didn't fall asleep last night...had my nephews bday party.
We got some bad news last night. My mom's best friend died yesterday. She had pancriatic cancer and then it moved to her brain. She has been fighting for 6 years. She was a very nice lady who would do anything for ya...she will be missed
I am going to do some work around the house today and then we are going to a freinds house for dinner tonight. I guess we are going to have beer butt chicken...never had it so should be interesting.

Morning....Gant, you brought breakfast...looks delicious, but I'll pass this time, not much in the mood for eating, having just a bowl of cereal. Enjoy your hometown festival today, sounds fun. It is icky sticky here also. Rained most of the night off and on.

These will be a few hard days this coming week.
Mac, thanks for all the good thoughts...I hate I got sick on a weekend so I can't do anything I want, but yet it was nice to have 2 days to spend just laying around. I just did a few dishes and through some clothes in the washer, back to bed now, can't do too much or I feel all done in
Hopefully tomorrow will see this thing turning a corner.

yep, and it was so yummy! even aubrey had two helpings--it must be really good if that happens

it is suppose to be hot and sunny here today...another heat wave they say..i think i am really ready for the fall temps to get here.
have a busy day here today...the kids have a 5 day bible camp this week at one of my friends house so more running around for me.
Trent gets his 7th grade physical...yes i said 7th (where does the time go?) on wed. Also on Wed. my mom's friend didn't want a funeral but a private ceremony so there will be a luncheon after that so i am trying to figure out how that is all going to come together as it is going to be 30 minutes away from here.
not to mention one of my friends wants to have a garage sale and she wants me to help her with it. So i guess that is where i will be spending my evenings this week.
gotta run...parents coming...hope everyone has a good day!!

Weather is humid here and we had storms off and on all weekend, at least we got some rain, but everything is still brown...poor farmers too, corn and stuff did not get the rain it needed this year.
