Mickeys Dreamers and DGH: DLP 2006 PART 4
CAST: I (Laura) and DGH (Disney Grumpy Husband)
IN: Jan 2nd Newport Bay Club
OUT: Jan 6th
TUESDAY 3rd of January (First full day at DLP, the Lion King)
According to our tickets, when we woke up we were supposed to have almost finished our breakfast. We went to Cape Cod Restaurant with a reasonable delay, but the girl took our tickets without even looking at them and gave us a table. DGH had to save his grumps for another moment
We had a very light breakfast (guess why?),and we were ready again to bundle up and heading to the park.
Updated Le Monde forecast for today was Petites pluies en debut de journée
(light rain at the beginning of the day) and in fact the weather was so nice that when we finished our breakfast the beginning of the day was already gone and there was no more rain J (I am behind my grumping schedule grumped DGH).
Still remembering Monday evening buffet, we decided that a light dinner was recommended, so, on the way to the park, we decided to make an evening reservation at Café Mickey. Our idea was to have just one entrée while having some fun with the characters.
First day was of course fully dedicated to Disneyland Park (Studios can wait). Even if it was quite late for Lion King tickets distribution we went to Videopolis. One year ago guests were chasing CM to get a ticket now is the reverse J CM were stopping people offering the tickets. So we were able to see the English version of the show at Noon.
As usual I was in the front row to take pictures
while DGH was in the back to videotape the full stage.
DGH grumped that our neighbour were quite strange
BTW, using again all the facilities of my camera I took some nice pictures ((its just point & click grumped again DGH)
A great show, with great singers and dancers. IMNSHO better the WDW version.
