Tesco phone card

We fly out to the states next week and would prefer to get a phone card before we go, has anyone used the tesco's one? Any good or bad experiences with them?

Any help would be really appreciated

never used the Tesco card but normally purchase one from Virgin and they are excellent, never had a problem and you just dial the number like you would in the uk..easy.
Just had a look at the Tesco one and don't want to worry you but I couldn't see that it lets you dial to the UK from the USA. I could only see that you could use it in certain european countries to dial back to the uk!...I am prob looking in the wrong place though as it is late now and I have a stinker of a cold coming!!!!

thanks for your reply, sorry to hear you're not feeling well i have also seen the card you have looked at, there are two different phone cards, there is a Holiday card (european destinations) and there is also an international one for use everywhere else, but thanks for your thoughts.

Noticed from your ticker you are going away soon, we're flying to LA next friday, i wonder where you're off to?

We are off to Las Vegas for the first time! Very Very excited now..have got the cases out already and thrown some stuff in them Staying in the Venetian have a lot of things planned like the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. A couple of shows booked also. woohoo...

On another note glad I was wrong about the phone card. I am sure it will be like the Virgin one and work well.

Been to vegas 3 times and it's absolutley fantastic. If i can just pass on a tip you have to watch the fountains at Bellagio, have a look on youtube they're brilliant by far the best free show in vegas. You will have a FANTASTIC time
