Character Corner, the chain that recently opened up shop in Clinton, CT and Woodbury, NY is NO MORE!!! They came in today and packed everything up and will put it on a truck tomorrow. I do not know anymore details. When I hear more I'll pass it along.

That sure is strange! There was a store here in the Philadelphia area that did the same thing a few years ago. It had mostly Disneyland stuff, but we picked up some great items! I was so sad to see it go. Wonder what their story is? Are they not legit Disney retailers?

I'd be interested to hear if the ones in Myrtle Beach and Orlando are still open.

I'm headed to Myrtle in about a month, so I can check then, but anyone know about the one in Orlando? They were still open 2 weeks ago.

What about the Wrentham, MA location? A character corner was supposed to OPEN there sometime during the summer......

These are usually temp. stores that set up shop for about a month or 2. They sell lots of DL stuff. We had one recently near Potomac Mill, VA. It was there a short time and then left. It will most likely never come again because they are not allowed to set up shop anywhere near a permanent Disney Outlet. I thought the one in Mrytle Beach was a permanent store when the Disney Catalog Outlet closed there? These stores most likely buy bulks of DL items, probably through a bidding process. The Catalog Outlets sold some of the DL stuff for a short time.
