'Terramundi' Updated post #16

Hi all! We have decided to open up the 'terramundi' this weekend. Strictly speaking, it's not an actual terramundi because DH thought they were a waste of money, so he made me one from an old tupperware wrapped in Christmas paper.

We have been putting £2 coins in it for approximately 3 years. Our only rule was that if you got a £2 coin in your change, you had to put it in. We have both had a wager on how much is in it.
My guess: £600
DH's guess: £900

Will update once we've counted the cash.

We did that when £2 coins were first released, no idea how long we saved but we had £1,500.

My DH has a cafe and any £2 coins he gets are "mine". I put them towards our holidays. We normally average about £200 a month Good luck with the grand opening hope you are pleasantly surprised

And us - no wonder there's so hard to find Our tin is so heavy I can hardly lift - but no idea how many in there. They'll be released early Oct!

the furthest we have gotten is to put all 10p 5p 2s and 1s in a pot we have saved for the last 6 months and wont touch it until september anything that is saved is the kids

In fact as Im writing this i just told hubby we are going to save any of our £2 now we may not get too many but any we get will go in the pot!!
