Hi everyone. So I did the CP in 2009 and I was there for about 6months and I ended up getting termed for drinking at a party before I was 21. Everyday I basically think about going back and working at Disney again :confused3:sad2: What do you think the chances of me getting back in would be? Thanks all input is appreciated!:ccat:

I don't know what the chances are, but it doesn't hurt to apply and see what they say. Good luck!

Thanks alot! :goodvibesThat's what I was thinking too it wouldn't hurt to apply. I would seriously give anything to work at WDW again. Best time of my life!:simba::stitch::ccat::donald::figment:

Anything is possible. I know people who were termed, then were able to do another program

You most likely have restricted re-hire status but you won't be able to find out what your rehire status is until you apply. So if I were you I would apply as soon as possible just to find out what your status is. I've been told that when you're termed for something like a housing infraction on the CP you're given a no-rehire for two years and then it goes to a restricted. I have no idea if that's true or not because a lot of people will also tell you that if you're termed for underage drinking or something similar you're given a permenent no-rehire and that's definetly not true. So it's hard to know what to believe.

I have restricted rehire status and I'm not entirely sure why. I finished my CP and was never termed but apparently I wasn't within transfer guidelines when I finished. Although it was my second CP and I don't think I was within transfer guidelines when I finished the first one either but got accepted into the second with no problem?

I just went through the process of rehire paperwork and I'm waiting to hear back from them as to whether it's being lifted.
In order to have a restricted rehire lifted you have to have 6 months of steady employment at the same job. They'll need letters from your employer stating how long you've been with them. They'll ask you write a paragraph or so explaining why you were terminated and why you think you should be considered for employment. There's still no guarentee it'll be lifted though even if you do all those things, it's done on a case by case basis and it's up to the casting recruiter and a rehire committee.

So I suggest if you plan on trying to apply at all, go ahead and be prepared to make sure you can meet that 6 month employment policy. It doesn't have to be full-time, it can be a part-time job as long as you can say you've worked at the same place for more than 6 months.

Wow thats alot to go through but totally worth it! So is this just to be accepted into the CP or Career start or is it just to be rehired at all? THanks for all the info extremely helpful!!:thumbsup2

Any kind rehire. I have no idea if it's easier to get your rehire status lifted if you're applying for the CP or if you're just applying for full-time/part-time.
