Teriyaki places

Hmmm, do you mean teppanyaki? Like a Benihana-type place? With the big cooking grill and the chefs that do cool tricks with rice ball? If that's what you mean, then there is a Benihana in Anaheim on Ball Road. (2100 E Ball Road to be exact). Very close to DLR.

If you mean teriyaki as in the sauce, DCA has an Asian cuisine CS where you can choose your type of meat and sauce. They have teriyaki sauce as an option.

Hope that helps!

I just saw that you said within walking distance. The Benihana is probably too far to walk. It's pretty much a straight shot down Ball Road so you can always jump on a public buss that's going down Ball Rd. (if you feel comfortable with public transport).

If you just want Teriyaki, go to the Luckey Fortune Cookery in DCA on Pacific Wharf, it's super good!! :)

We're thinking of something cheap and not fancy. Just some standard Chicken Teriyaki take-out (which our kids love) is what we are looking for.

I went to Yellowpages.com and saw that there were a number "close" by, but would like walking distance. We will have a rental car, so if we have to drive we can do that.

Thanks

I was just thinking a couple weeks ago while at DLR that I should ask this, we are WA natives and after more than a year in SoCal I still haven't found GOOD terriyaki. I have given up on finding anything close to home, the closest I have found is a good hawaiin BBQ spot, but it's just not the same as our neighborhhod spots back home. So if anyone knows of a good terriyaki take out joint near DLR it would make our trips even more special!! I will definitely give the new spot in CA a try, but terriyaki is suposed to be a cheap treat and I doubt it will be!

I have to agree with the above poster, teriyaki like we are used to in and around Seattle can not be found any where else. I really do not know why this is, but honestly in all my years trying, Seattle area teriyaki is only in Seattle

Again, the Luckey Fortune Cookery in DCA has good teriyaki. We all enjoyed it. They have chicken, beef or tofu, it's mixed with steamed veggies and served over rice. They also have edamame, which is sooooooooooo good!!!!!
Go here http://www.anaheimgardenwalk.com/dining/ for Garden Walk dining options, you've got PF Chang's (if you go here you must have the lettuce wraps, they are so good), which is Chinese but good! You've got San Sai Japanese Grill and you've got 2 Hawaiian BBQs.

Another Seattlite who thinks that teriyaki places must just be a Seattle thing! It's the best though! I just wish they were open on Sundays!
