My wife and I fell in love with Teppanyakis years ago and have eaten there many times since.
We love this type of restaurant and have eaten at quite a few different ones including Bennihanas which I found to be average as far as overall experience.
We found the atmosphere at Teppanyakis more enjoyable. Rather than pulling up to a hotel and going in for dinner, at Teppanyakis you stroll through "Japan" and are waited on by Japanese citizens inside Japanese style buildings.
If you are lucky you may even get to see and hear the drummers.
If you have a PS for Teppanyakis go there, I don't think you will be disappointed. Try Bennihanas when you are at home.
