Do they serve the salad with ginger dressing and the broth soup like most other Japanese steakhouses?

They now charge for the salad.....it is not included in the meal.. and broth I do not remember....it has been a while.

No, they don't. There is no broth soup at all, and the salad is now a "Garden Salad" you can purchase a la carte. It's a little more substantial than the usual small bowl of iceberg lettuce, because it also had two tomato wedges and three cucumber slices (I only remember this because I ate there Saturday night!!)

It was still yummy, though. The biggest change for me is that they offer only steamed white rice, while I am used to (and LOVE!!) the fried rice they do on the grill at my local Japanese steakhouse.

It's still a great meal!!!

I never remember this restaurant offering that kind of rice, I would love that but alas only the white rice in a little bowl.

So far they have not cut their portions that I have noticed other than not offering the salad as part of the meal......I think I always get Tonsoma...or something like that...........it is good.
