Teppanyaki or Nine dragons

I can´t decide.......which is better and what dishes do you recomend?

I would go for Tapenyaki.

Nine Dragons has a VERY pretty dining room, but rather ordinary food at rather extraordinary prices.

Theey are 2 totally different cuisines. If you like Japanese Steak House type food, with the grill right in fron of you, then Tepenayki is the one to do. Nine Dragons is Chinese food. I personally like the Sushi Bar in the Japanes pavillion for a yummy lighter dinner than the grill show food.

Take everything Whacked said and reverse it

Teppanyaki is rather average Japanese food, and the "show" is not very good. Nine Dragons has a beautiful dining room and the food (last week) was superb.

Everyone has (and is entitled to) an opinion.

i love the show at teppenyaki. the food is not the tastiest hibatchi i've ever had though.
i've never eaten at nine dragons, but have avoided it since i once worked with a woman who was a chef there, and said they put loads of msg in everything....ick, not for me.
i like mickeyfan1's idea - the sushi bar in japan is fantastic, and they have incredible drinks, plus a great view of epcot. or if you're not into sushi, the counter service in japan is quite good, and you can sit in the lovely rock garden area while eating.

NJB, I have heard that Nine Dragons is really good and really bad. I have done the Teppanyki Grill and it is no better or worse than the standard JSHs I have been to everywhere else. I am going to try Nine Dragons in December and find out for myself. I have done the CS in China and it was fine, I hope that 9 D will be better.

We ate at Tap the week of Labor Day. I must say I really enjoyed everything. We had nive people to join us and I thought the food was good. Steak and Shrimp. We had a male cook and I did notice that some had a female. It seemed that the show the male put on was more friendly toward the customers etc and attentive to us. Now there were just 4 tables around us so I cannot speak for the whole restaurant. But it just seemed that way to me as we were the last to be seated in this room.
