I have seen a vague menu for it. A website had it posted but I can't link to it (not an authorized one) It really was just an "appetizers from $3.00" kind of thing. So no great details. I keep hearing that the opening date is around 15 October. I have an ADR about a week later, I haven't had a call from Disney to say it wont be open. I also have called them a few times, and they keep saying it will be open by 24 October (my ADR) I guess we will find out soon enough!

yes, I'm interested in knowing too! our ADR is Nov 2! Can't wait to see it all redone! :goodvibes

They are still telling me Oct. 15th as well. I ahve reservations for the last week of October and they keep telling me they will be open for it. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

and.............popcorn::

:) I'm working on a review/pics for my website. It would already be up, but we are in the middle of moving and so getting everything together to put up pics and such is taking a little time.

That said, the restaurant is wonderful. Very vibrant, although almost an excessive amount of bowing. The Teppan Edo menu is similar to Teppanyaki, some changes - but if you liked one, you'd like the other. And the kids meals are served in a monorail, that was neat.

The Tokyo Dining room is very classy looking.

It was a great experience, I'm glad we didn't have to go to Le Cellier (which is where my friends had made the reservation). Teppan Edo was only open for walk-ups today.

Thanks for reporting back! We have an ADR for the 29th and was beginning to worry.

Sorry for the confusion, but is the "Tokyo Dining" a room that's in/part of Teppan Edo? or is it another restaurant?

Glad you had a great experience there and it gets me excited to go!

Sure, I just finished up my review with pics, I can post one or two here later.

The Tokyo Dining is different, it's the first restaurant area you see when you enter. There are two different reservation computers, one for Tokyo Dining and one for Teppan Edo.

Hi, Is there anyone out there that has reservations for Teppan Edo for October 23rd and doesn't want them? I had not idea, as it's our first trip to Disney (and we only booked 3 weeks ago) how difficult it would be to get dinner reservations anywhere? Thanks

Denise,

By any chance would you know if Tokoyo Dining will be on a reservation basis also? Thanks!

thank you so much for the review,,,,,,,

There are menus posted on allearsnet this morning.

I put up about 60 photos, but this one (kids meal) seems to be interesting to everyone who has looked at my pictures today:

The menus are currently just small paper take-out looking menus, I don't know if that will change or not.

Denise,

I can't seem to find your other post with the pictures, can you please link? Thank you so much for the reviews!! We are going in December.

Hi Tammy!

I'm not actually allowed to post my link here (though I have it posted in a lot of other places!) I will PM you.

Thanks!! I can't wait! We went last June for 10 days and of all the places we ate, Teppanyaki was *the one everyone insisted we had to go back to this trip. We have all been anxiously awaiting the new pictures and reviews!

According to Allearsnet com ,it is now open. They have menu and pictures.
