We are a party of 7 adults going for lunch at Teppan Edo. 3 are vegetarians and the rest of us have no problem with ordering the vegetarian option as well. This way we all get our food prepared and eat at the same time instead of having them do the vegetarian meals before the grill and utensils touch meat or seafood.
My question is that since the tables can hold 8, what would be the right thing to do concerning them placing someone else at the same table?
Would they try to make us squeeze in an additional party of 2 on a table with 7 adults? (since chances are slim there is a party of 1 though it can happen.)
Should we advise them when we check in that all 7 of us would be ordering vegetarian meals in case they want to consider the additional time it will take?
I would hate to make another small party of 1 or 2 wait while the Chef made our vegetarian meals, but I do not see an alternative. Thanks for your thoughtsl
