I was wondering just how good Teppan Edo really is(food, service, ect.)Any thoughts?

We've eaten there twice and enjoyed it both times. The food was good and watching the chefs at work was lots of fun. The second time we were at a table with some unruly children and that did detract a bit from the experience.

I'd say the food is good. However, if you have a hibachi restaurant near you you can get the same food and show for much less.

I agree. If you don't have a good hibachi restaurant at home, give TE a try. If you have a hibachi restaurant at home, the menu will probably be much better, will be less expensive and the show will probably be better at home.

My kids enjoy it, we like the food also. It's a lot of fun. It's one of the restaurants we do every trip.

Its fine but I dont want to eat there because my local place is cheaper, you can get fried rice and they give you the soup, salad, appie shrimp and tons of veggies included in the price. At TE you cannot get fried rice and you have to pay extra for the soup and salad

My son and I love teppan edo!! The food was incredible. and the show was fun. I went to le cellier the day before and believe it or not, the steak (filet mignon) at teppan edo was much better!!! :) I'd highly recommend this place. Try the green tea creme brulee/pudding. SO GOOD!

I wanted some good info on TE and got just that! Thanks to everyone for their thoughts.

teppan edo is right there with hood dee do for best reataurant in disney according to my family. the show by itself is great, the food by itself is awesome and when u combine them its perfection!!!! we LOVE teppan Edo. after going there it inspired us to go to a hibachi place near our house, which was almost as good!!:thumbsup2:goodvibes:):cool1::banana::love::rotfl::cutie::wizard::3dglasses:woohoo::yay::dance3::cheer2:

We were having a horrible day! Everyone in my family had been sick for the past couple of days. We were walking through Epcot like the living dead and couldn't decide where to eat. My 5 year old son pointed and said that he wanted to eat up there. I really didn't want to sit there and be entertained and I certainly didn't want to sit next to someone I didn't know. We had the best time. The cook was amazing, fun and entertaining. The food was great. That dinning experience was the turning point in our vacation. Now when we are in doubt we just ask our son! I highly recommend Teppan Edo.
