Teppan Edo - Seating Question

I have an ADR for Teppan Edo and we want to sit where they cook the food. I've seen pics of the restaurant and in some I see regular tables, and others have the grill.

Do I need to make a request early or does this depend on what meal you order. If you've eaten here I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Teppan Edo only has the steam tables for 8. There is no regular seating.
Tokyo Dining is right next door and they share the same waiting area.
Tokyo Dining has table service.
Make sure you booked Teppan Edo and not Tokyo Dining.

Last time we were in Epcot, we loved it. Great food and great fun While you're there, check out some of the sushi appetizers - they are absolutely delicious. Even if you normally don't like sushi, they seem to 'work'.

Just so you know what to ask for tell them you want to sit at a hibachi table. The hibachi is that grill you see the guy cooking on in the picture. Also, the type of food they cook on it is called teppanyaki

I can't wait to try this place. Looks and sounds good and I think the kids will enjoy it too.
