Teppan Edo--risk it?

This is one our favorite restaurants on property.
I'm having a "moment" and worried about the indoor aspect of it, specifically the massive ventilation system.
Is that a positive thing--that it's constantly being circulated because of the smoke from the grills? Or a terrible idea because of the intense recirculation?

For those who have dined there, or not, I would love to hear your thoughts.
Thank you!

I just read a review of the revised experience at Teppan Edo. Looked good to me and I'd be willing to risk it, because it doesn't seem like much of a risk. Of course that's easy for me to say because I'm the only one in our party that would be interested. ;)

we are considering this restaurant as I’ve always wanted to try it. Do you mind telling me where you found the review?

We had dinner at Tappan Edu last night. It was excellent,as usual. Only two tables per room are being used. We shared a table with two other people, but we're separated by plexiglass.

Sorry, but we never worried about the air. All employees were wearing masks. Never felt unsafe!!

I don’t see any issues with this restaurant, you will already be a Disney which I think is a huge risk all on its own.

Being at your our table with your party is not that bad, they are not sitting other parties with people so its just your group and the Chef.
Eating in any indoor restaurant at Disney would be the same risk I think

I would like to read that as well! Can you point me to it?

The poster above you indicated that they did share a table, but they were separated by plexiglass.

I thought it was still closed. Interesting. I wish they’d open Tokyo dining.

The ventilation exhausts the air outside, it doesn't recirculate it inside. There would be too much smoke in the restaurant otherwise. nd like others have said, there is plexi between only 2 parties at 2 tables at a time.

i just read the review--wow the food looked amazing.
we are going with a party of 8 on 9/6 good to see that we won't be separated by plexiglass!

They are spending millions to upgrade ventilation systems in our local schools. To me Teppan Edo already has this working in their favour due to their cooking surfaces.
