Teppan Edo? Really?

Are these TWO separate restaurant? :confused3

Yes, they sure are.

Teppan Edo is a table service, hibachi restaurant where your entree is cooked at your table by a chef. In our experience, the chef was engaging and the service was top notch.

Tokyo Dining is like other typical table service restaurants. We found the menu here to have more options to our liking and they have an extensive sushi menu. We also really love the view!

We've eaten at Teppan Edo twice and enjoyed it both times. We do use the sauces they supply and I do agree that without them the food is a bit bland. They have obviously "toned it down" to appeal to more people. But we still thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

We ate at Tokyo Dining on our last trip and enjoyed the meal there as well.

Teppan Edo's great... but it's the only sit down place I've ever been to in WDW where I actually got up with plenty of room left in the ol' belly.

We love Teppan Edo (it's our son's favorite) and we try to make it there every trip. The food and service have always been great. I don't deny that there are probably better Japanese Steakhouses outside of Disney but that holds true with about any restaurant in the parks. We like Le Cellier too but I can get a much better steak for the price at a number of steakhouses where I live.
