DH and I love the Teppanyaki style cooking but have not been to the one in Epcot in about 5 years. We are thinking of adding it to our April trip but I have a couple of questions.

1. Can you upgrade a combo meal from sirloin to filet?
2. Is there a shrimp appie included? The places around us give you 5 shrimp as a starter while the chef is cooking.
3. Is there a salad and soup included? Again the places around us give it to us.
4. Is there a fried rice option?

Many thanks in advance

No to the last three. No shrimp extra's, if you want them you have to pay for them. Salad is extra. Lastly, no fried rice.

They have sirloin, and they have tenderloin but I'm not sure if they would switch them out, you would probably have to pay more. However I have no experience to say this can be done. Though I can't see why not.

I'm still trying to figure out if the sushi is included as an appie on the DxDP? I've looked at the appie list and that is basically the only options they have for appies besides the soup and salads. But I thought I read somewhere that the sushi is not included on the DxDP.

Also, I'm with the OP on exchanging sirloin for filet with the shrimp combo. I just don't like the sirloin cut and prefer ribeye or filet and almost always get a steak/shrimp combo at a teppanyaki style restaurant. But I'll be happy either way I'm sure as this will be our first dinner when we arrive. (we'll have lunch at Coral Reef earlier in the day as our first meal for DD12)

I will be getting married only days before we arrive, so I doubt nothing will be able to spoil my mood once I'm married and at my favorite place in the World! Looking forward to all of my ADR's.

For those who have eaten at Tepp, would you suggest skipping and going to Benihana's? Isn't there one at one of the DTD hotels? Hilton maybe????

1) All of your questions are answered "NO".
2) Teppan Edo is not Benihana or Kobe.
3) If you want any of these you pay for it.
