Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining

Any opinions? We've never eaten in Japan and we both love sushi...which restaurant would you recommend Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining?

I believe TD is more sushi oriented and Teppan Edo is more like a Benihana's!

I agree! Teppan Edo is the hibatchi style table restaurant. I have ressies for Tokyo Dining for the sushi! Yummy! There have been some really positive reports about Tokyo Dining lately if you'd like to check them out....

I haven't been to Teppan Edo recently, but on our last trip we did go to Tokyo Dining and had a really delicious meal, so I would say you can't really go wrong with that one at least

We were unimpressed with Teppan Edo in December. If we dine in Japan again, it will be at Tokyo Dining.

Thank you all very much for your help! I think that I'm going to go with Tokyo Dining. I read somewhere that if I can get an 8:30-8:45 reservation that I might be able to see Illuminations! That would be great!!!!!
