Which of the two restaurants would you choose for your Epcot day? There is a party of 8 of us (4 adults and 4 kids 12,12,11, and 8). We always go to LeCellier but want to try someting new this time around and both of these appeal to us. Imput please!

Dh and I would choose Chef de France because we always go to a Japanese Steakhouse in town. However depending on how picky your children are I think they might prefer Teppan Edo.

We are trying Chefs de France for lunch in May...looking forward to it as it seemed to be a favorite on TG Mike.

I love Chefs de France!!! Its a tradition for us to do Epcot on our last day, and we always say "goodbye" with lunch at Chefs (onion soup, Quiche Lorraine, and their version of mac and cheese, creme brulee)

We did both on our trip last March. The kids beg to go back to Teppan Edo - they don't mention Chefs. Teppan Edo is fun - Chef de France - not so much fun.

The food at both is good.

We have done Teppan Edo (or Teppanyaki in its former life) 4 times, and we did Chefs on our last trip in September (well, both actually). Obviously Teppan Edo is a favorite of ours--it is my DD14 all time fav anywhere, I think. For the age of kids you have with you, I would probably recommend Teppan Edo for the "show". There is always a chance you could get an under-enthusiastic chef, but we have always had good luck.

Not so say we didn't like Chefs de France. The food was really good, and the two teen girls with us really liked our waiter that night! :rotfl:

we liked both restaurants. I love the onion soup at France but I agree with pp. The kids would enjoy Teppan Edo. The food is cooked plain and then you add your own flavors with the dipping sauces so if you have picky eaters that would be the way to go.

Teppan Edo, it will even appeal to the kids. Food is good, not a lot of choices, but chicken, shrimp or steak. Chefs make it fun, and tables seat 8.

Teppan Edo - if you really want a treat for an appetizer though the escargot at Ches de is the best I've ever had!
