I will be traveling with my 5 yr DD and my 1.5 yr DS. I am not sure which place to choose from. I really enjoy seafood and thought since I am doing so many character meals, that my husband and I could do one restaurant that is "for us" however, I do need the kids to be happy... otherwise we wont be LOL... I am just can't decide which one to choose. What is your experience?:yay:Thanks

Both of my children loved Teppan Edo. IT was a very kid friendly place, it's a good show, and the food is amazing...and without sauces, perfect food for kids. Mine were thrilled with noodles, chicken and steak...it's the only place my DS asks to return to.

No ? here Teppen Edo. This is good food and fun. This is in my opinion not like the ones at home.

I too would go with Teppen Edo. You are probably doing other buffets where you will be getting up and getting the kids food and yours. Go with Teppen Edo and stay sitted and relax and enjoy seeing the CM cook for you! I also don't think the clam back has all that great of fish selection if that is what you are going for.

Thanks for the help on making my decision... It would be really nice to sit and be served!!!!!

On our most recent trip, the kids meals were served in really cool monorail dishes! We love Teppan Edo--it's a good experience for kids and 'rents, too.

Also, some great pics of Teppan Edo here to get you excited!

Thanks for the link!

I, too, am in the same boat although I'm trying to decide between Chef Mickey's or Teppan Edo for dinner. I think the comment about sitting and being served has solidified my decision! Not to mention, I ate at Chef Mickey's on a previous trip but have never been to Teppan Edo. Plus, I love Japanese food!!! It's almost a staple diet here in Toronto, Ontario

We love Teppan Edo, I would definitely go there over Cape May.

We love hibachi restaurants and eat at them alot locally so we usually skip the one in Epcot (we were there a few times and it is very good) but I think your kids will be very entertained there.

I would rather eat at Cape May though

We love Teppan Edo and it is a must do for us on every trip.
It is a beautiful restaurant, with warm friendly servers and delicious food.
Have a Great Trip
