I'm sure this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find out. Is Teppan Edo on the 2008 DDP? (Teppan Edo is the Behnihana like resturant, right?)
I'd like ot eat there as it looks like fun. Also is the new Italian resturant on the 2008 DDP? And if these are are the 1 credit or 2.
Can't wait to go in June, first time with DDP. Those dates must be coming up soon for making ADR's  . Yeah!!:goodvibes
thanks alot in advance for you help:cool2:

Moving up to the dining plan board, where it has been discussed.

I also would like to know about Teppan Edo don't see it on the latest list but I do see the Italian Restaurant is on the list.
180 days out you can start the ADR's

I called Disny today - they are not sure if Teppan is going to be on the DDP but are hopeful. They are still working out the contract details. I still made as ADR for now. I plan on calling back in a week or two.

The italian resturant Tutto Italia will be one credit.

Teppan Edo is on this year's DDP if that gives you any hope. We'll be there on Tuesday using 1 table credit.

Called yesterday
I was told that it is still under review for 2008
check back

When I called last night to make some ADR's it was still not on the list. The CM was heistant to commit to whether or not it might be added. Her feeling though, was that since the 2008 list is out and it's not on there, that it would not be on the DDP.:scared1:
I hope she is wrong. Thankfully I have 6 months yet for it to hopefully be added.:woohoo:

We are going the first week in June and my daughter really wants to go to Teppan Edo. What is the best thing to do, book this and book a backup then in June if it isn't on the DDP cancel and use the back up? I don't like doing things that way but if Disney is playing games I guess we can ;)
Disney wants to make money, yes , but we all want to save money, so we can do this vacation more often.

I was kinda disapointed with the choices for the DDP for Downtown Disney area, there is only ONE resurant listed on the allears.net site. we wanted a nice sit down there after the girls get thier hair done at the BBB but i might have to look at the resort resurants... Cap'n Jack's is the one on there now, i have no clue what it is or how it is...

For ME and DW this past Sept. Captain Jacks was our favorite TS. We each had the twin lobsters. Next time we were even thinking of doing Captain Jacks twice.
For 2 young girls it's hard to tell. Our daughter when young only ate chicken strips so finding anyplace to eat was a challange.

That is an outdated list. I don't have the list for the standard DDP, but this is the current DxDDP list: http://adisneyworld.disney.go.com/m...cific/eng/nontheme/tickets/08DeluxeDining.pdf . The participating restaurants are the same for both plans, and you'll see that Wolfgang Puck, Planet Hollywood, Raglan Road and a few others in DTD have been added.

As far as Capt Jacks, we enjoyed our dinner there but I wouldn't go back unless I somehow developed a taste for lobster. The main draw is the twin lobster tails, and since I don't care for lobster that is lost on me. They are the only 1TS credit restaurant that serves lobster, but the rest of the menu is fairly limited and not all that impressive. DH loved his lobster and I enjoyed the crab cakes and key lime pie, but the shrimp pasta entree was just okay.

thanks so much for that link!!! Yeah me and dh neither one care for lobster... we are kinda changing plans now ... again !!! Arrrgggg! I hate plan changes!

and it was one of our best meals! Atmosphere was wonderful.. Food was terrific and so was the service!! I highly recommend it..
Never has Japanese food on Xmas eve before and did not know what to expect but it was fabulous!!

I called today to check on Teppan Edo, and it is still not on the 2008 plan. I will give it another week or so, but I am starting to worry since we will be leaving soon. I do not want to make another ADR or cancel this one yet. But, if it isn't confirmed soon, I will have to.

That is so weird...the CM I spoke with earlier today said is was included in the 2008 DDP! I got all excited because it's the one place we really wanted to try and I was about to cancel our DDP if we couldn't use dining credits there. Looks like I better call back and see what the next person tells me. :sad2:
