Im looking at the menu on allears, if you are on the dining plan, how does it work. You choose an entree and then they individually cook it for you or do you choose a meal family style then they cook it for you. is it good?

It is just like Benihana... everyone chooses their entrees and it is cooked right in front of you. Then each person is served their meal.
We were seated with another family. so it was a table of 9.

The food was very good. We were going to go back, but it was all ready booked by the time we planned our trip.

We loved the food here! Each person chooses whatever main dish they want. I chose the chicken and shrimp combo...the chef cooked it right there in front of us ...it was served with rice. If you have a big appetite you may want to have a snack first! The portions are not all that large, but it is a fun experience and we will be going back next trip!:thumbsup2

We were there a few weeks ago. We had a good time, the food was good. But it was incredibly loud in there. It was hard to hear our cook...and the others at our table didn't seem to be much interested in making conversation.

It is very good. Like the other posters said is you choose an entree and all entrees come with white rice and a vegetable/noodle side that is also cooked in front of you. Your meal also consists of a dessert. It's a fun place to go and has always been good each time we've went.

Teppan Edo, as noted above, is very comparable to BeniHana. The atmosphere is a little loud, but I attribute that to the actiities and the show put on by the chefs at the hibachi tables. Also as noted you my or may not (depending on the size of your party) be seated with other guests. We have had the pleasue of dining with other families during several of our visits and the experiences were quite enjoyable. The sushi is decent as well.

The ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE TO EAT. We LOVE Teppen Edo and eat there every trip we make. I was unsure at first because I don't like food that is all mixed togather - like Chineese - that I can't identify. But everything is cooked right before you - and is Oh SO Good. We have eaten at just about every resteraunt in disney world, and this one ranks #1 for all 3 of us in the family. What could be better than a New York Strip cooked in butter. Never mind the calories - it's disney and we always seem to lose weight there from walking everywhere.:cheer2:

I was the only one at our table who chose the green tea pudding and it was excellent. Everyone else was jealous and wanted a bite! Doesn't sound great, but I'm really not into chocolate cake so I tried it.
