So I just showed my son a pic of Teppan Edo and the chefs cooking right in front of you. He thought that was so cool. He asked if we could go there. Well I'd love to, but he is the pickiest eater on the face of the earth. Does anyone know if they have anything along the lines of chicken nuggets???

We went there last year and loved it! My boys will eat anything, I on the other hand am very picky. He can get plain chicken, just won't like the sauce. I believe they have white rice also. If you go to allears.net they have a list of all the menus. Do a google search for Disney menus and you should find it.

I don't think they have chicken fingers, but our daughter always gets grilled steak and shrimp at those kind of places. She loves it!:)

I've checked out the menus thank you. I just wasn't sure if maybe there was something different.

I wish my son was that adventurous! For the most part, when he tries something new he likes it. It is just getting him to try the new stuff that is the hard part.

No chicken nuggets, because if they did, I would have ordered them for my boys!!! We got grilled chicken. Next time I would ask them to make it plain, without any sauce or sesame seeds in it. DS6 ended up eating my steak and really loved that. Most everything is grilled in front of you, or deep tempura fried in the back.

It's a wonderful place and my boys loved the chefs. They were very entertaining!

My DD is extremely picky and usually only eats chicken nuggets where ever she goes. This was her favorite TS restaurant in WDW. She enjoyed the whole experience from watching her food being cooked, the chop sticks and the little bowls of dipping sauces. I ordered her the chicken but she ended up really liking my steak. However, I do recall another child at our table being served something that was not prepared by the chef. Sorry, I forgot what it was (I was paying too much attention to my food...yum). If I remember correctly, it was in a little monorail type kids meal looking thing.

We too have a very picky eater, but DD(6) loves Teppan Edo. Although I should mention her favorite restaurant is our local Hibachi restaurant (same as Teppan Edo). They have lunch specials, so we go every saturday! She likes the hibachi chicken and rice at Teppan Edo. At our local restaurant she likes the chicken, the fried rice, onion soup, salad with ginger dressing and even eats the broccoli. This took a lot time though, she added one type of food at a time, but she took to the chicken and rice right away. It is somewhat plain, i think any picky eater would appreciate the plainness of it. I think they enjoy watching the food be prepared, that they want to try it.

I'm pretty sure I saw a pic of that monorail type kids meal before, but can't remember where I saw it. And I know the food in it looked like chicken nuggets/fingers...........I wish I knew.

When we were there last Jan a child sitting at our table ordered a chicken nugget meal in a bus type bowl. My boys do not usually eat a lot of veggies but having the Chef prepare them in front of them always seems to change their minds. It might be worth a try. The show is totally worth it.
