My best friend from college and I both have similar-aged daughters (7,7,6,5), and (since we live in different parts of the country) we try to visit each other at least once per year. We are both outdoorsy types, and our kids love to camp. As an affordable way to do WDW, we thought about tenting at FW for 5-6 nights at the end of May next year.
Questions regarding this:
Is it crazy to bring our tents/minimal supplies on the plane and take ME to FW? This would, of course, mean we'd have no vehicle during our stay.
Is it too hot at the end of May to bring relatively young children? Are we going to be regretting this idea around Day 2??
Having never stayed at FW, how are the amenities for tenters? Comfort station, walk to buses from campsites, dining, etc.?
THANKS for any advice, assistance, etc.!!
