Hi all,

Me again. Here is my tentative schedule for my trip to Orlando Feb 21-Mar 01 2004. Do you all think that this is workable for that time of year? What sort of changes might you make.

My traveling party will be two adults who love fantasy, medieval stuff, role-playing, dungeons and dragons, and pirates :) We are both fairly easily amused and little kids at heart (although we will probably skip the REALLY kiddie rides). We are staying off site at High Point Resort in a townhouse owned by DBF's mom. We have a few restraunts we MUST do other times we will just grab whatever while we're out. We have early flight getting into Orlando and a late flight coming home. We will have a car.

If you can suggest anything else we might have missed, that we might like, please tell me. Otherwise what do you think?

21 Plane/ Magic Kingdom / Dinner @ Castle / Check in

22 Epcot / Lunch @ The Living Seas / Downtown Disney

23 Animal Kingdom / Disney Quest

24 MGM / Lunch at Sci Fi Drive In / Dinner @ 50's Prime Time / Fantasmic Light Show

25 Magic Kingdom /Lunch @ Tony's/ Dinner @ either The Luau OR The Hoop-Dee-Doo

26 Boating @ a Disney Resort / Horseback Riding @ Fort Wilderness / Dinner @ Medieval Times

27 Seaworld / Dinner @ Pirate Interactive Dinner Theater (approx 10 minutes from Seaworld)

28 Check Out/ Check In / Universal Studios / Dinner @ Margaritaville on CityWalk

29 Islands of Adventure

01 Check Out/ Islands of Adventure / Plane

How early are you flying in? I'd probably switch out the MK that day with one of your non-park/resort days.

Since you'll be at MGM just one day, I'd consider dropping one of your PS's.

MGM has lots of shows which have set showtimes, not like the rides which operate constantly. I think you may find it difficult to see the shows you wish to see, be able to catch the mid-afternoon parade, and still have time to enjoy both of your PS's.

I'd probably opt for a mid-afternoon meal at 50's Prime Time (say, around 2:30), then enjoy snacks at the Fantasmic theater while waiting for Fantasmic.

If you have a Fantasmic Dinner Package Reservation, don't give that up!!

DBF is looking forward to both of the restraunts at MGM that we have planned. I think it'd break his heart to cancel either of them. We will probably skip the B&tB show (I've seen in many times and he is isn't that interested in it). I'm sad they took out the Hunchback. That was my favorite show at MGM.

I know its silly, but I am mostly planning this trip for him because he has not been since he was 11 (he's 31) . I even went so far as to make a list of "things DBF likes" and which rides have these things :) (ie. Dinosaurs, Pirates and/or Vikings, Action Movie Style Effects, 3D effects, Spaceships etc...) Heehee you'd think I was making this list for an 11 year old!

I am hoping that we get in an out of the restraunts. We don't eat much and we both eat kind of fast so I guess it will depend on how long it takes us to get our food/check etc.

:)

Thanks for the ideas everyone. Keep em coming!

Sheri
