What are the differences and what would you recommend for 2 families with 5 kids ages 1-10 for site they should choose?

We are planning on a pop-up and tent for 2 families with 4 adults and 5 kids,(2 of which are 7&9)

I'd go for full hookup 1600 1700 1800 1900. It'll be easier with the kiddos to get to the pool than from 2000 loop.

I think 1500 would be a tight fit.

I second Denise's opinion (as I often do). :goodvibes

thank ya'll so much, we will consider the price difference. The main reason for 2 families is for budgeting reasons. Neither family could afford to go by themselves. besides how close to the pool, are there any other differences? we may consider dropping a day off tickets just have a day at campground which would make up the difference in price (i think) and I know all the kids will love a pool day. Plus I am sure the younger set will enjoy the day off from the whirlwind of disney! pixiedust:

If you don't have a down day (non theme park) day in your schedule I would build one in. The Fort is probably the best WDW resort to hang out at and spend the day just around there. Sometimes we slip over to Downtown Disney for a few hours but there are always things to do or explore.

BTW, the Fort has daily activities usually near the main pool or in the big field next to it. Here is an old weekly list of mostly free activities the kids can enjoy:

You get a current activity list at checkin and they are also usually posted outside each Comfort Station.

Have fun at the Fort!
