Tent Camping

Hi, I am kind of new to the whole Disney thing, I have stayed at animal kingdom lodge for two nights once. I am coming down with my husband, his male friend, and my girlfriend from work in October. The two friends do not know each other, so they need separate tents. What I need to know is if the sites are able to accomodate two dome tents and my tent which is 7x14? And possibly my screen tent? Will I need two sites? Can you get two sites together? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I think you'll have more than enough room. We always camp in our tents and we typically have 2 - 2 room mammoth tents with a large screened in tent that holds "the kitchen". But, yes it is easy to get two sites together, as long as they are available. And if your single friends hit if off...well they might appreciate the space.

Fort rules are 1 rv and 1 tent per site or 2 tents per site both with a maximum of 10 people. So for 3 tents you will need 2 sites. The 1500 and 2000 loop are partial sites and better suited for tents with less concrete surface. Also you can try and get an AAA discount.

Yes this rule is followed just like the pets ONLY allowed in pet loops....and we all know how well this is enforced.

You guys, save your $$$$ and put your stuff on one site. FYI, the outer sites in 2000 loop tend to be larger than those in the 1500 loop. Good luck.

Thank you for the help. I think we will try one site, because now the guy doesn't know if he's going to come. I am very excited to check out the Fort. If you have any tips or anything, I'd be glad to hear them!
