W/E sites are either the 1500 or 2000 loop. As the 2000 loop has a lot more sites, the chances are better that you will end up there.

If you plan on using the pool a lot, you can try to request the 1500 loop. Its right across the street from the Meadows pool:thumbsup2

Its a small loop, so you still may not get it, even with the request.

We stayed in the 2000 loop a couple of weeks ago. One of the comfort stations was having work done on it and you couldn't get to the ice machine, so if you wanted ice, you had to go to another loop. We were right across from the other comfort station so it wasn't to bad other than everyone having to use the one comfort station. That might be something you want to ask about.:hippie: :wizard: :dance3:

1500 loop is centrally located in an ideal spot. The comfort station was recently upgraded. We requested it and got our request in early June.

This is the one direct to the hotel.

Thanks everyone for your replys I amgoing to have dh request the 1500 loop. we have 6 kids and would love to be closer :)

Are you tent camping?? If so, let me warn you that if you have multiple tents, multiple shelters, it will be tight on a lot of the sites in 1500.

Loop 1500 is older and the "sand" areas are smaller there and there are trees in weird places and the grill post is sometimes in a weird place. Now if you have a PopUp then you are OK.

Loop 2000 is newer and well-designed for tent setups. The grill is always off to the side in it's own little area and the "sand" area is bigger.

Based on what I saw last week, two tents and a screen room would be better in 2000. You might be too cramped in 1500. There is another pool around 2000, but it is smaller than the meadows. Just a suggestion for you.

We did like the 2000 loop when we stayed last time. I am only worried because we have a 1 month old this time . But my kids love the bus and the walk to the other pool was not that bad. We are only doing a weekend trip so we did not reserve a golf cart. I love having the golf cart !!!

Thanks for the tips!

We just put a pop-up, a large tent and a screen tent around the picnic area in 1509. There was plenty of space, and the samdy area was much larger than at most state park campgrounds I have been too.

It really depends where you are in 1500. 2000 is bigger though and more spacious.
