We did it. But we were well prepared. We set the tent up under an oversized canopy for extra shade and rain protection. We had a dinning canopy over the picnic table so we had a dry place to eat. We are from the south and have lived in central Florida for 19 years so we are as used to the heat as you can get. We had box fans for outside the tent and a 16" oscillating fan for in the tent. However, the only thing that made it not be miserable for sleeping was the 5000 Btu A/C I rigged up for the tent. It did not do much in the day but at night it was great and by morning we were fighting for cover. Otherwise I know I would not get much sleep and everything in the tent would feel wet. We have camped in summer with only fans in the tent. Air at 85 deg temps and 95% humidity just does not have much cooling power even at 50 mph. Kind of like being in one of the infomercial cookers with cyclonic cooking. But like you say its only 2 days.
Yes, most sites are very close to a comfort station and you will be delighted to know they are air-conditioned and cleaned very well everyday. If you should ever find one that is not there is a white house phone in front of the comfort station that you can call housekeeping and they will come and take care of any problems.
