So, the hubby wants to tent camp this Jan 3-10 instead of staying at AoA and now I'm trying to figure out how to do this.

We'll have a tent and screen house and I'm having a hard time figuring out what kind of site to get.

Is this correct? If I choose a tent site we'll be in loop 1500 or 2000. If I choose a preferred site we'll be in loops 100, 200, or 300?
Can you fit a tent and screen house in a preferred site?

Yes, you may have to have some extra rope to tie down the screen house. You will have to straddle the concrete pad.

Thanks :thumbsup2

I'm looking at loop 1500. Will a 10x10 screen room and a 14x15 tent with screen porch fit. Here is a picture of the tent hubby is looking at. An Embark 9 person cabin tent from Target.

I did a thread last year about the size of sites in 1500 and 2000. If anything, 2000 is bigger than 1500. And 1500 "depends".

If you try do put these in a Preferred site, the screen house will probably have to go on the pavement/driveway.

If you get a Partial (1500/2000) site the answer will be it depends. (as I said above) because most sites vary in their details.

Whatever type of site you reserve, ask the CM to put a note with your tent and screen sizes on it. The Fort Assigner (if provided with this info) will get you in a site that fits.
