Where can I go for information on tendering in St. Thomas? Just wondering how it works, how frequent the tenders are, etc. Also wondering how easy it will be to get to Coral World or the tram from where we tender in.

Also, when I cruised with Carnival in 1997, we had to tender in St. Maarten. Do you still have to do that now?

Thanks!

I don't think your cruise will need to tender as ours on the 1/10 one will have to. Surely they won't make the following one tender...

There is a schedule link posted on the cruise meets 1/10 thread.

Hmm...According to the schedule both cruises are supposed to dock at the Inner Anchorage. Do these schedules ever change?

Karen - you beat me to it! :o

We tendered into St. Thomas on the 11/15 cruise. The dock that we tendered at was in the downtown area right across the street from a shopping mall. The farmer's market thing was right down the street from us. It was in front of the hill with 99 steps...or something like that. We were told that it was a little over 5 miles to the other dock & tram. We skipped it & just walked with the kids in the stroller & did a little shopping at the market. They had a tent set up with seats for you to wait for the tender & coolers with water & fruit punch available. It was very hot that day!
