DH and I are in the preliminary stages of planning a trip for early January 2006. Would it be too chilly to enjoy Discovery Cove?

We were in Orlando in January a couple of years ago, and although the weather was warm (especially compared to home), I'm not sure I would have enjoyed swimming or being wet in general.

Has anybody experienced Discovery Cove at this time of year?

Yes, I have done Discovery Cove in January, and I was fine.

We where lucky this year it was in the 80's at DC in january but if we had planned it a day late pouring rain and cold so it can be risky but that being said we have been very lucky everytime

We did the dolphin swim at DC in Dec 2003. The day we picked was the coldest for the whole two weeks we were in florida!! Even though it was cold i didnt really feel it becase it was the most amazing experience ive ever had.. You are given a wet-suit (if its cold get one with long sleeves) and this helps keep you warm, besides all the pools are warm except for the dolphin pool which is a bit cooler, and as i said once you begin your dolphin interaction you wont feel the cold ;) enjoy!
